Hero's Edge Foam Junior Excalibur Sword, 28"

We have been really happy with these swords! They are solid enough to battle but soft enough if you get hit.

This is a very neat little sword. I wish they made toy swords like this when I was a kid. My little one loves it. We can safely work out aggression/expend all that child energy, play knights, slay dragons and other mythical beasts, and learn to respect and negotiate safe limits in play. The sword is not completely safe (nothing is) but it is sufficiently soft to prevent harm within reason, while rigid enough to have some serious fun with. I know it's geared toward LARP, but we have found that it is great for living room quests as well. I would recommend it to anyone with a child that likes adventure play or uses sticks or other less safe items as swords or play props. This let's that kind of crucially important developmental play go to the next level.

have not tried it yet or bought it but it looks cool

first I paid $3.98 to get here in 5 days. it got here in 8-10 days. i contacted the seller about it never heard nothing back. When it came after my grandson's birthday I would had been better off going to the dollar tree. I'm definitely returning this. MY OPINION DONT BUY IT.
