Perfect size to pack what I need for a day. I love the color outside and inside. Enough pockets. Also sturdy material!!!

This is a great bag. My daughter needed something large yet sturdy for school, and that fitted her 15" laptop. We tried smaller capacities (from both Herschel and other brands) but found them on the small side, especially for the laptop. The XL is really capacious with plenty of space for her stuff. The shoulder straps are padded, comfy and wide - so good for distributing the weight when the bag is full. We also love the water bottle pocket at the side which is big enough for her 750ml bottle (other brands we looked at either didn't have a bottle holder or were too small to fit her big bottle). The material feels durable and thick and zips etc run smoothly. It has also withstood the rain. The Ash Rose colour is gorgeous too. Very happy and would purchase again.

The quality is great and the 2 waterbottle pockets are great. Usually I like backpacks that don't have a ton of compartments because I find that it takes away space in the bag; however, I do wish there were a little more small pockets like in the Pop Quiz Hershel bag.

XL backpack great for school & travel. Bought for son to take to college - has a good size padded laptop sleeve, front pocket storage - he's super happy with it. Personally, I prefer the Pop Quiz style because it has a little easy access hidden pocket for personal items like glasses or whatever. Both are excellent quality.

I like that it is made with some recyclable material. It was nice that there are two water bottle holders. One side I used to hold sunscreen or bug spray or selfie stick for easy access. The other side, I used for my smaller water bottle. Unfortunately, my 40 oz did not fit when the inside of the bag is full. I liked that is it green because at least it's a little different than all the black backpacks out there.

Great sturdy backpack. Very well made. Plenty of space with a classic look. Has room for 2 water bottles, lunch and every book my child owns!!! The weight he carries in it is unbelievable but the backpack holds up. Highly recommended. Online purchase which was super quick- no fuss!

I bought this a few months ago at the recommendation of my partner, and I'm pretty happy with it. I use it daily for work, taking my laptop and supplies to the office, and home, and I also use it as my carry on for trips or an overnight bag. I wish there was some more pockets sometimes to keep things separate, but the construction quality is excellent and there's plenty of space.

It's great quality bag; function wise have plenty of space and back pocket for iPads. Water storage on sides is a plus. The best thing is durability and when kids are using it's a plus. Other book bags don't even last a year and the Hershel bags lasted two years plus ( by then my kids wanted a change otherwise it is still is great condition. I usually buy during sale so it's a great price.

Loved the maroon color and great deal for this backpack! I had a Herschel backpack in the past and it lasted for several years but I wanted a backpack with a zipper instead of straps that would snap the backpack closed. The XL is a perfect size for a student to hold my laptop, books. water bottle etc. I only wish that there were more inside pockets or dividers instead of the one laptop sleeve.

The fabric is stiff and the zipper often gets stuck until I roll back the fabric over the zipper. I imagine the stiffness will enhance durability but it is aggravating the zipper problem. I do love the color, the side pockets, and the laptop pocket. Classic subtle design.
