Herschel Supply Co. Classic X-Large Backpack

Soooo spacious I'm amazed. It can fit my laptop, wireless keyboard, and the XL travel pouch. The only downside is I can't fit in my Klean Kanteen 20oz water bottle at the side pocket. So it has to go into the main compartment which takes up space that can be used for other stuff but I'm not complaining.

This is the second backpack we have purchased because of how substantial they are. Our kids drag them everywhere and they still look great. We had a clip break in one and the service was quick and impressive. Highly recommend this backpack and other Herschel products!

This is a great bag. My daughter needed something large yet sturdy for school, and that fitted her 15" laptop. We tried smaller capacities (from both Herschel and other brands) but found them on the small side, especially for the laptop. The XL is really capacious with plenty of space for her stuff. The shoulder straps are padded, comfy and wide - so good for distributing the weight when the bag is full. We also love the water bottle pocket at the side which is big enough for her 750ml bottle (other brands we looked at either didn't have a bottle holder or were too small to fit her big bottle). The material feels durable and thick and zips etc run smoothly. It has also withstood the rain. The Ash Rose colour is gorgeous too. Very happy and would purchase again.

This backpack is very durable and has a luxurious feel. It has one large pocket with a computer section and and smaller section on the front. Fits all of my textbooks and notebooks perfectly with room to spare. The water bottle compartment is the perfect size for a regular Hydroflask. The only downside was that the bag was wrinkled out of the bag due to shipping and it took some effort to make it look like it's original shape again. It is perfect for school.

I bought this more than 3 months ago and I use it everyday. The shoulder is very comfortable even I load heavy books inside. I never really try the water proof. It should be good with drizzling, but I'm not sure about heavy rain as I've never tried yet so cannot tell. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. Definitely recommend!

It's great quality bag; function wise have plenty of space and back pocket for iPads. Water storage on sides is a plus. The best thing is durability and when kids are using it's a plus. Other book bags don't even last a year and the Hershel bags lasted two years plus ( by then my kids wanted a change otherwise it is still is great condition. I usually buy during sale so it's a great price.

Got this bag because I don't like briefcases. Holds all my day to day stuff as the photo shows. Bag look fairly well made but time will tell that. Even will all my EDC stuff I still have room for my lunch bag and a few extras if needed. It should even work for small day trips. There is no waist belt so I wouldn't recommend for hiking.

Love the burgundy/purple color and the durability of this bag is excellent. Great inside liner and laptop sleeve, and roomy front compartment. Comfy shoulder straps. The only things I don't love about it are: it's not as flexible as my other backpacks but I guess that's what makes it more durable; and it's almost too nice to use sometimes! I find myself using my old crappy one still for groceries!

its nice over all the only things i dont like is that the zipper has almost a hood over it and need to flip that up to zipper and unzipper, and the 2 side water bottle holders when i have books in the book bag do not fit bottles or cans in the sides, they are not stretchy and it wont hold your drink for you

I bought the XL water resistant version of this bag for my daughter. While the quality of the bag seems okay, the straps are extremely disappointing! There's absolutely no padding in the straps! My daughter carries a lot in her backpack and these straps hurt her shoulders.
