Herschel Supply Co. Heritage Black Tonal Crosshatch 21.5L Backpack

I have been using Herschel backpacks since undergrad in college. I can honestly say that the durability, quality and style offerings of these bags is perfect for me. This is my 3rd bag across 16 years! I've ended up getting a new one around major life transitions and they really have carried me through various seasons of my life! My last one was a birthday gift in 2019 and I'm just now needing to replace it! Love the new color I chose and can't wait to get more!

I love the size and material; Just size I need. BUT the outside open side pockets are much too small and narrow for the typical water bottle. Even if not used for bottles it is not very useful

Glad to find a bag that fits my 15” laptop and distributes the weight over my shoulders. The water resistant lining has come in handy twice already when I spilled my lunch. Great color.

Great Backpack for the price. Size was perfect for what I needed, nothing too big or too small. Work computer fits as well as my bigger home laptop. I can also fit gym clothes, headphones, meal prep, and still have plenty room for some more belongings.

I recently flew and picked this to use as my carry on. I had enough space to pack my 5L Chapter Bag for toiletries, and had room for my iPad mini, tech accessories, cords, and snacks. The tech sleeve protected my laptop and made it easy to access when going through TSA, allowing me to get through quickly! The vegan leather bottom is thick, giving structure to the backpack that I wish my Classic had!

I bought this backpack for my husband, after our cat ruined his older Herschel backpack. He absolutely loves this one; especially the cup holders on the sides!

very nice looking and well made backpack. Pretty no-frills as it contains the main pouch with a laptop compartment (I wish I knew the dimensions of the compartment before ordering because it's a tight fit for my small work laptop and way too small for my larger personal laptop), a small front pocket, and two side water bottle holders. I just wish it were a bit larger as I sometimes have trouble fitting all my belongings. When I ordered this I was under the belief it was a bit larger than in reality

ANYTHING!~ SO I CLICKED ON THE "BLACK TONAL" BACKPACK. . . . BUT IN THE PICTURE IT IS HARD TO SEE THAT IT HAS A "BLACK LEATHER" BOTTOM. SO. . . . I CALLED YOUR "1-888" PHONE NUMBER AND SPOKE TO SOMEONE. . . . . WHO HAD "BROKEN ENGLISH" AND ASKED IF THE "BLACK TONAL BACKPACK" HAD A LEATHER BOTTOM. . . . . . . AND HE HESITATED. . . . . AND THEN TOLD ME "YES". WELL COME TO FIND OUT. . . . . . "IT DOES NOT"!!

The synthetic leather peels within 2 months. Warranty does not cover this because it is consider “wear and tear”. Not worth the money.

Not the same quality as previously purchased items. I wish I wouldn't have purchased this bag and I'm unable to return.
