There’s no substitute for Hershey’s chocolate syrup. I remember the days when the syrup only came in cans, and my mother always had one sitting in the refrigerator. It’s wonderful on ice cream and makes the best chocolate milk. I won’t buy any other brand.
The Hershey’s chocolate syrup is the best thing ever. It goes on any type of dessert you can think of. It is easy to come out, there is no after taste, and its smell like real chocolate.
This is my go to for chocolate milk for my children. This syrup has a great tase and worth the money. I will not get anything else for chocolate milk.
A rich chocolate syrup. I like making an ice cream pie drizzling this syrup through coffee, chocolate, or vanilla ice cream and spreading a thick glaze on top--re-freeze for 5 hours or overnight. Also great with a drizzle of caramel syrup throught the pie.
Is there really anything negative to say about Hershey's Chocolate Syrup? It's a classic for a reason! The rich chocolate flavor is delicious, whether you're drizzling it over ice cream, mixing it into chocolate milk, or adding it to desserts. It's been a favorite in our house for years, and it always tastes just as good as I remember. This is one of those pantry staples that we'll continue buying again and again!
We've bought Hershey's Chocolate Syrup for years. The kids especially love it for making chocolate milk or putting on ice cream, and it has that familiar chocolate flavor everyone expects. My only complaint is the bottle can dispense pretty quickly. When the kids use it themselves, they sometimes squeeze out WAY more than they intended. 😂 A little more control from the cap would be nice, but the syrup itself is always a hit.
This is HERSHEYS! My FAVORITE CHOCOLATE producer. Of course it's an excellent and tasty product. I'm amazed how evenly mixed this stays. I add to homemade mocha coffee mixes, others add to milk. Sometimes I add it to melted Chocolate to keep a more liquid texture.
I tried because I like Hersey's chocolate. When I added to milk, it was not as good as Nestles. Again i think this is another personal preference tasting product as most food related items are. it is definitely good chocolate syrup and may be great in a Sundae or over ice cream.
Hershey's syrup is good, but let me tell you a secret. The Great Value brand is just as good, and is significantly cheaper. Hershey's is a bit thicker than Great Value, if that matters, but is probably not worth the extra money, especially given today's economy (May 2026). The two brands don't even taste different, and both get slightly thicker if you refrigerate them, but they don't really need refrigeration after opening. The best use for chocolate syrup is over ice cream, and if your ice cream is frozen too solid, putting a little syrup (of any kind) on it will cause it to melt a little faster than ice cream without syrup on it.
If it was the normal price, Yes 100% very good. That being said they legit just jumped the price over 7.18-8.47 16% jump in a single day, watch prices on good sold by walmart they are ripping you off now.
