I like dark chocolate but can never find it anywhere. I was delighted when I found kisses in the Special Dark Chocolate. I love the purple wrapper too! It's the perfect way to portion control and no waste! Open the bag and take one or three or seven! I pop it in my mouth and let it melt on my tongue. So decadent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of dark chocolate and after trying the Hershey's Kisses Special Dark Mildly Sweet Chocolate I was amazed on how good they were and how normally dark chocolate leaves a bitter after taste not the these they were balanced with the right amount of sweetness leaving me with no bad after taste. I found myself enjoying these so much it was really hard to stop eating them all at once! These are so perfect for snacking, parties, or even decoration. They all are individually wrapped in purple foil made to look fancy. I was not aware of the Hershey's Kisses Special Dark Mildly Sweet Chocolate before trying them for a review. After trying them I highly recommend buying them they are so good!

I have been enjoying dark chocolate kisses for years (actually almost a decade now). They were such a great way to enjoy dark chocolate without overindulging. My husband and I both noticed in the past year (maybe 6 months or so) that the taste is really different. It has this off rate almost like you added coconut (which I love) but in the wrong portion and it is really off. We have not been able to buy more and switched back to Dove. Wondered if it was in our heads but I am seeing other saying the same thing. What has changed?

The recipe has changed since the beginning of this year. The dark chocolate is now more of a milk chocolate taste, the candy is softer and melts on the tongue much quicker, the size of the kiss is also smaller. I ONLY buy the dark kisses but they have become such a disappointment now, I will need to search for another Dark chocolate to indulge in as Hersheys has become a waste of my money. I hope you go back to the original recipe like Coke had to do when they lost so much sales with their recipe change.

My husband and I love having the dark chocolate kisses around the house for treat that can be easily portioned. However, we just bought a large bag and immediately noticed what others have mentioned — the taste has changed and they aren't good. To us they taste waxy and nearly flavorless, like cheap chocolate Easter candy. Please change them back! 😢

We have always loved the dark chocolate….and now it tastes terrible (to me). It does not taste like dark chocolate at all, and tastes like waxy coconut has been added to it. My husband likes it because he likes coconut, but he is also disappointed because he also likes the dark chocolate….which this is not. Perhaps you should market this as coconut hersheys kisses, and bring back the old recipee for the dark. We will not be buying this anymore.

We have been eating these kisses for years and have always thought they were the BEST. So creamy and delicious dark chocolate flavor. The last bag we bought went in the garbage. Drastic change in flavor. Tested like cheap milk chocolate. So disappointing. Was this just a fluke or has something permanently changed? We are afraid to buy more.

From 2017-2021, I probably ate 2 bags of these kisses every month - they were perfect! Throughout out the last year or so though, I have been dismayed to find the flavor getting more and more 'off' tasting - something has changed. I buy one bag every few months, hoping that it's back to normal, and it never is. I'm probably just going to throw this one out, and not buy any more. How disappointing. But, I wanted to review it here for others that have noticed - they HAVE changed in flavor, it's not just you!
