Hexbug Battlebots Arena Playset Infrared

Grandkids,ages 9,11,15 all enjoyed this. Going to see if can purchase more battle bots so all 3 can play at same time.

...said my son. He just turned 6 and had been watching the show on TV since he was 5. He always wanted to play battle bots using LEGO pieces. This was a perfect birthday gift for him. The bots look just like the real ones. They were designed to have parts falling off to simulate realistic collisions . The parts are reattacheable of course since they are magnetically snapped on. The controllers are a bit small and take some getting used to in order to perform well in fights. It's all about driving skills! That makes this toy fun even for adult like me. In terms of assembling, it was pretty easy to set up. It took us about 10 minutes to put the arena together. The floor is made out of thick card board and felt sturdy. The only thing was that they came folded so when you unfold them they were not completely flat. They form a small bump and some time the bots got stuck there. It wasn't too bad, just a bit annoying but that adds interesting play dynamics! Overall, if your kid loves the show, I would totally recommend the set.

We bought this for a birthday gift for our grandson and he (and all the other kids at the party) loved it!!

Bought it for 8 yr granddaughter, she and her sisters n friends love it!! Provided some interest in the tv show

Playset is well made, arena is durable and battlebots are designed with re-attachable parts that come off in "battle". For anyone that like the TV show, this will be well liked.

Awesome Toy... Grandson loves it. Fast shipping 5-stars...

My soon to be 7 year old son loves watching the show and really enjoys playing with this set. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star review is the fact that because the board has a crease in it causing a bit of a hump, Tombstone tends to get high centered and stuck in the middle of the arena.

it was very disappointing, It had 2 tiny battlebots only 1 works. There is no area as we were expecting. Not sure what infrared means nothing lights up. very over priced and the boys cannot even enjoy. no wall as pictures only 1 end of the plastic black /yellow wall.

My son has wanted this for the longest and got it for Christmas. Out of the box, one of the bots and remote was defective. Can't play with just one battle bot. Contacted Hexbug and still waiting to hear from them a week later. Very disappointed in this product!

To much money did not keep their interest.
