Amazing design - Problematic build - Experts ONLY
Reviews of this robot kit have noted many frustrating problems: poor assembly instructions, inadequately identified parts, malfunctioning control system, insufficient power from inaccessible battery pack (which peters out quickly). All this adds up to an error-fraught, time-consuming build, ending in an inoperable heap of expensive plastic for most users. I expected these problems and they are real. However -- With enough time (10-12 hrs for just the skeleton), attention to detail, additional parts and programming -- you can make a functioning, fabulous machine from this kit. I added more battery power
