I got the Hi-C Orange Lavaburst Juice Drink Cartons cause I keep juice in my mini fridge in my bedroom. These are just the right size to fit i there without taking up too much space. They have just the right of sweetness and right out of orange flavor. These are also the right size to pop in a lunchbox for kids or adults.
The best juice espcially from my childhood. This is my sons favorite juice since he was a baby, he is now 7 and Walmart is the only place I am able to locate these juice boxes?!? Please always keep restocking these to keep my son a happy child and myself a happy parent.
Very nostalgic. That bright orange flavor is exactly how you remember it. Sweet, a little tangy, and definitely more of a treat than an everyday juice. The smaller boxes are perfect for kids or quick grab and go drinks. Easy to toss in lunches or keep on hand for busy days. It is on the sweeter side, so not something I would give all the time, but it is fun to have around. Good for a treat and always gets finished.
Expected this to be like Orange Hi-C ...... Even the colour is NOT Orange ..... it is only slightly yellow. Very disappointed and this item appear to be made for a small child with the tiny straw and opening. Had to puncture the small carton in order to try to pour the product into a glass.
I bought this for nostalgia, and to treat myself , I remembered how good Hi-c was especially the Orange flavor, you can still get it in some soda fountains and fast food establishment. However, this doesn't tast as good, and I noticed its "lavaburst" not orange, it has a bizarre sweetness that most store bought pouches have these days, like the Capri Suns just don't tast like they used to and I believe it uses the same type of sweetner. I would not recommand for anyone craving that taste they grow up with in the 80s/90s
These juices are regularly out of stock in the stores for weeks at a time but available online for shipping at a very overpriced rate. Leaving those of us with autistic kids that won't drink anything else, no choice but to pay the price gouged overpriced ransom.
They have ruined the orange juice boxes that me and the kids have loved for many years by adding sucralose in an attempt to cut back on sugar. All they did was make it so me nor my kids will drink it anymore because of the artificial sugar, making it taste gross and oddly sweet. Sucralose is known to cause GI tract issues and kills probiotics, don’t feed this garbage to kids! Change it back please, it’s repulsive in its current state.
Mcdonald's has been using hi c orange for decades as their non carbonated orange drink. I worked there on and off through the 70s, 80s, and 90s, I know it's delicious, so good in fact that in 2017 mcdonald's dropped it from the menu and people were so outraged they brought it back almost immediately. After having one from McDonald's yesterday, I thought I'd like to have some at home and all I could find were these. So I bought a few 8 packs. We'll, I was in for a big disappointment. This doesn't look or taste anything like the mcdonald's version. Mcdonald's must have it made to be the same as it always has while this stuff isn't orange colored, doesn't taste the same. They put in artificial sweeteners to lower the calories and it tastes horrible. And has a bad aftertaste. I wouldn't give this to kids let alone adults. HI - C, if you read these, please bring back the original classic hi c orange and sell it in half gallon or gallon sizes!!
this tasted so gross. I looked on the ingredients and didnt see fake sugar but it definitely taste like it. Waste of money and companies need to put on the front if it has that fake sugar crap. Let the consumer decide which sugar they prefer. Not all of us have diabetes.
I remember the big cans we needed a church key to open. Juice was colorful and tasty. This was neither
