Customer Insights: Rated 4.0/5 from 825 reviews.
I usually read the 1-star reviews first to weed out comments about bad shipping/customer service and in this case all these gripes about how the tire did not come with a rim as shown on the photo (really! - if a tire would come with a rim, you'd have to select a bolt pattern as not every rim fits on every vehicle/trailer). That said, the tires were on sale, shipping was very fast and mounting the tires on a rim was not an issue if you know what you are doing (note to the people who complained about the tire beads being so close together and yes, mine were the same - beads almost touching). You can always bring the new tires and your old ones to a proper tire shop and pay to have them mounted. I cannot comment on the wear as I just put the tires on the trailer but with proper inflation, I anticipate that the tires will last.
I purchased 4 of these st205/75/15” tires when they were on sale. They arrived quickly and in great shape. I am very pleased. These tires are good for your smaller single axle utility trailers. I bought them for my 5x10 tilt utility trailer. I own an auto repair shop and I am a tire dealer, so they had to be a good deal for me to purchase them here and not from my distributors. Keep in mind that these tires are narrow so don't try to use these on 6” or wider wheels or you may not be able to get them to take a bead. If you have bought them already and have wide rims, remove the valve stem, and use two ratchet straps for each side of the tread, wrap around the tire and ratchet down but don't smash the tire, and then start filling with air with the valve stem out to get more air in at once. If that doesn't work yet then put the tires 10' or so flat down in front of a space heater to warm up the rubber and make it more pliable then try the ratchet strap trick again to get them to take a bead. Once they take and pop once go on and remove the straps and continue to air to about 38psi and insert the valve stem back and you should have let out about six pounds of air doing that and should be at the correct psi. I hope this helps.
I bought the trailer tires for my boat trailer. The price was outstanding as well as the quality of the tires. I am very pleased will purchase again if needed. On time delivery as well.
They are great Tire for the price can beat it. You can get it anywhere else. They're good looking Tire very nice for what I paid for it I was really surprised
We needed new tires for our utility trailer. These were perfect and we got them at a far better price than anywhere else. Had the local tire man put them on and we're on the road.
The tires themselves were fine but I had to pay someone else to mount them. Wal-mart refused to mount what they sold me. So with the added charge some where else I ended up paying more than if I had bought my trailer tires from Goodyear or any other tire company.
the problem is they are cheap and I still have yet to receive the second tire I order at the same time and it's been two weeks since first one was delivered
The tires arrived defective. both sidewalls, for each tire, were mashed together so close, or manufactured too close together, the technicians could not get the tires to mount onto the rim. After multiple attempts to get the tires mounted, they finally gave up and advised I try another tire shop. Guess what, they weren't able to get them mounted, either. The trailer tires were a great price, but would definitely NOT recommend anyone to purchase after my experience.
In store service was the worse I have ever encountered. I stood there over 15 minutes afyer pushing the help button in the tire center. 3 associates stood there in front of me on the other side of the counter, and not one of them even acknowledged my presence. I finally voiced up to one of them, and they said sorry we are busy with another customer on the phone. Since when does it take three people to handle one phone. The least they could have done was to tell me they would help me soon. I went to another tire center. I was in and out in 6 minutes. They sold and mounted my tire in 6 minutes , The same size and brand tire for $40 less than what paid Walmart. This the second time I got treated like crap in that tire Dept. Not as bad as when my wheels fell off my truck on the interstate, after having tires installed at Sam's Club, Never buying tires at Walmart again.
I'm a Walmart member. Called to see if I ordered these tires on line would the auto center mount them at no charge under Walmart . She said yes. Ordered tires %26 they were delivered. Went to have them mounted under Walmart . NOPE!! Wanted to charge $58 to mount them. This is why I usually deal with Amazon- no surprises!! Walmart continually finds a way to screw up their on line sales! Not the first time they have crapped on me! Probably the last though!!
