the material is kinda thin fleece but it's reflective and seems to be holding up, not a nice texture

I liked very much the thickness %26 material. Not too thick %26 not to thin. Soft %26 very vibrant color. The reflective band is wonderfully visible at night but I do wish there was a reflective band going across the top from the eye area to the back of the head...like a racing stripe. Its long enough to cover the front %26 back of the entire neck to keep the cold air off. Where the bungee strings are to pull the hood/ eye area closer is excess string %26 that is the only default. I cut the bottom of the string, cut the string a couple inches shorter %26 tied a knot at the end %26 lightly put a lit match at the end of the knot to seal it so the little black plastic holder to keep the string tight wouldnt fall off. If you don't do this then when you pull the string to close it around your face, there alot of loose string %26 it gets in the way %26 caught on things when you're working. That can be very dangerous!!! Other than that I love it!!! Please consider having some in Black, grey %26 neon orange colors.
