Hibiclens Skin Cleanser 4% Strength CHG Bottle, 8 oz

Make no mistake, this is surgical scrub. As it is anti-septic and anti-microbial it should be used for cleaning wounds, rashes, scrapes, cuts, boils, inflamed ingrown hairs or other uses where infection or contamination is a problem. It is not an every day use product. Your bare, unbroken skin does not need this cleanser. It definitely does the job efficiently when needed, cleaning your skin or wound to prepare it for healing, with or without further medication or bandaging. I have a prescription for this product, but at this price it's cheaper than my copay. This product can stain fabrics like washcloths and such.

This is one of the few things I can use on my sore…. I have lymphedema and blistering skin disease on that leg and it's allergic to everything but I can use Hibiclen on it

There should be instructions on how to apply, after rinsing off your usual shower soap. It's easiest to just use your hand and don't scrub hard. It guards against germs on your skin before surgery. Also it could have a more pleasant fragrance to encourage its use.

my daughter has had staph before and we were instructed by her dr to use this soap to help heal and prevent it from spreading. we have bought it twice, she has never gotten staph again

i prefer the Hibicleanse Scrub. it lasts longer than the reqular in keeping those very stinky areas from stinking. The regular one helps. it is even the product that patients who are allergic to betadine gets prepped with

For my need it has worked well, but delivery needs fixed for this product. I got my package and opened it up with the bottle about halfway covered in the skin cleanser. i have no photo bevause i cleaned it as i opened the package.

Worked really well on my rash, BUT I mean, who reads all the small print! Make sure you do. Cleaned my tub with Clorox and my tub turned Bright Red!! Still working on destaining! Soap reacts with chlorine!

I bought plenty of Hibiclens before and have never had an expiration date less than 2 years out this purchase it expires in 5 months. 12/2021. **Go Figure**
