HIC Kitchen Ice Pick with Cover

I wanted a slim smooth covered ice pick that would fit in my silverware drawer and this ice pick fits perfect! It will not get tossed in the top drawer with all the other assorted items and get lost. It has a very sharp point and a comfortable handle and the sheath fits securely. This was a great buy for me!

I have been looking at ice picks for years, and was always afraid I would hurt myself retrieving it from drawer! Now, I bought this one because it has a wooden sleeve that the ice pic goes into before you store it in your kitchen drawer! The sleeve does not click CLOSED, but it is on there, so it looks like one piece of wood and I don't have to worry about hurting myself with an ice pick! I would recommend this to anyone, especially a senior like me that is very concerned about accidents!

I have searched for years to find an ice pick like my grandma had! She had an ICEBOX. Got 50 %23s of ice 2-4 times a week in a solid block. You had to have a good ice pick to get smaller pieces. Sure miss following that old man in his horse drawn wagon, trying to get a small poece of ice to suck on in summer!! ( no popsicles in those days!! 80 yrs ago 🤣😋😋)

After a couple moves I couldnt find my ice pick identical to this one. Id had it for years. I was so happy to find this one. I love it because its easy to find in a drawer. I love that its always got the cover on the pick end. It was just a great find for me.

I liked the fact that it has a cover to store It in. No unnecessary accidents when traveling with it. And it is also attractive looking. I have not used it yet, but i am sure it will work.

The safety cover does not fit as the hole on the inside of the cover is not deep enough to accommodate the length of the pick.
