Kwik Kut Serrated Food Chopper

My mother used this chopper in her kitchen. I had one before my divorce and when I moved I had to buy another one online. I cannot find them in the store. The young employee at Walmart was helping me look for it in the store, but had never seen one. I showed her and it wasn't there. I just ordered it online. I thought it was expensive, but I like the way it chops. When I chop boiled eggs I can make them the consistency I want, or the same with onions. I feel I have more control than using a machine. It's a simple way to chop.

This handheld food chopper is exactly what I expected. The sharp teeth edges do a wonderful job and while it's definitely harder work than using a electric food processor, it chops things just as well. Our biggest use for it is to chop cabbage and other veggies for homemade slaws and works great for chopping boiled eggs for salads and summer side dishes. Will undoubtedly work great for nuts in fall pies!

I had my mothers that was > 60 years old. It had finally broken and I searched everywhere to find another one. I hope this one lasts even half as long as hers did. Its my favorite little chopper.

I really like the versatility of these types of food choppers. This particular model is not the same quality as the previous one that I have. The stainless steel thickness of the product is just a tad thinner than the old one. It's still does the job but it's just not the same and I can feel some metal flexing as I use the chopper.
