I "really" hope 100% that they DON'T stop selling this (my favorite flavor) of Hidden Valley Jalapeno Ranch, as I've been using it exclusively for over a year now.. I would be devastated if they quit stocking it .So much so, that I constantly have several reserve bottles in case they do.. That's how much I love it, and not just for salads, but: Tyson Buffalo Chicken strips for dipping, and many other's !! I mean with my hot sauces I'd find a way, but that's besides the point 🔥
I ordered Hidden Valley Jalapeño Ranch from Walmart delivery thinking, “Sure, this might spice up taco night a little.” What I didn't expect was a full emotional experience delivered to my front porch. First of all, Walmart got it to me faster than some relatives return text messages. I opened the bottle and immediately understood the hype. This stuff is dangerous in the best possible way. Creamy ranch goodness with just enough jalapeño kick to make your taste buds sit up straight and pay attention. Not “call the fire department” spicy--just right--enough to compel you to dip everything in it. The bottle should probably come with a warning label: “May cause spontaneous dipping of random foods.” Hidden Valley Jalapeño Ranch has officially earned permanent refrigerator citizenship.
It was ok on a salad though I liked it better as a dip for wings and chicken nuggets, it is pretty spicy which I didn't expect. Not one of my preferred dressings/dipping sauces.
perfect flavor for dipping pizza into
The flavor of this dressing is Very Spicy. I like spicy foods but this was a bit much for my husband and me. It might be good as a topping on a burger or fish sandwich but not as a salad dressing. It was on the salad dressing shelf in the grocery store but I think I'll use it differently.
The others lie! This is spicy. I like mild salsa, Siracha mayo, jalepeno poppers (for reference) and this is spicy. It tastes like any jalepeno thing ever. Don’t be fooled by the people who say it isn’t at all?? Unless I got a particularly spicy bottle. I dilute it with regular ranch and that makes it a more mild heat
A bit pricey, and a bit hotter than I expected. I just mix it with plain ranch to minimize heat and the taste is very good. Can use on salads or in marinating or as a dip. Great change from your average dressing.
I Love the Lite house brand Jalapeño Ranch. Since Walmart doesn't carry it I was looking for an alternative and being hidden valley ranch I expected better. Basically taste like a spicy hidden valley ranch. No WOW FACTOR. Will not purchase again. Will stick to my litehouse brand. It's a shame that Walmart doesn't carry this variety but carry's regular ranch for litehouse brand.
TOO d @m HOT. was expecting Hidden Valley taste and quality. disappointed in the heat. need a mild version!
I love spice and spicy food! But this was so spicy i thought my mouth was on fire! I can handle a high level of heat but this was too much for me. Jalapeños aren't even that spicy so I don't know what they added. Maybe ghost pepper? Definitely not jalapeño.
