omg wow. my 1st time with black pencils oil based. where have i been. these are turley amazing! very good quality. I have been used to Prisma. however my grandkids got into them. these werepriced very well. prisma will break your bank.

I recently purchased these pencils. They are a pleasure to use, they glide over the area smoothly. They are well packaged.The colors are rich and vibrant.The only thing is I tested out each the pencils and found that some colors don't correspond to the what it is labeled as. I easily remedied that by grouping the pencils by the color of the lead not the name or the top of the pencil. A good value....

Firstly, I am no artist but do enjoy coloring, though have been traditionally less than happy with the results. Finally in my retirement I've decided to upgrade from my cheap dollar store and Crayola pencils to a more premium set. Secondly... WOW! Just... WOW! I had no idea that colored pencils could be like this. Anyway, if you're not sure... be sure. Are they 1-to-1 colors with a name brand? Probably not, but since I'm not a professional artist with those kinds of hangups... I'm good.

Nice set of pencils. I bought this for my grandchildren to use so they don't mess up my professional sets. The quality is so good I ended up using them myself! Perfect set for anyone who wants good quality at an affordable price. They blend well, nice selection of colors. The cons are 1- the actual color does not match the pencil end or the shade shown on the box, but they do give you a color chart to fill in so you can see the actual color. 2- the pencils have nbrs on them but they arent grouped by color. Like there may be a red at 120 then another shade of red at 240.. so you end up kind of searching through the color chart as well as the set to find the colors or shades that you're looking for., it would be perfect if the colors were all grouped together. . Lastly- the yellow doesn't have a lot of pigment.. for those reasons I deducted 1 star but the set as a whole is great product at reasonable price. Would make a nice gift for a budding artist .

I was really looking forward to having a nice set of coloring pencils, especially a set like this with 72 pencils. at a reasonable price point. The colors are bright %26 deep with so many different shades. I wish I could have given a rating of 5 stars since the colors are beautiful and so many pencils are included. However, the subtraction of 2 stars is due to my experience of opening the box containing 72 pencils which resulted in them sliding out and tumbling to the floor...most of the 72 pencils, that is. I suppose I should have checked first if they were secure before sliding the trays out of the box, but I didn't. As I slid the trays out, the weight of all those pencils caused the tray to flex and bend from the weight and the pencils fell to the floor. That is due to the lack of a case to hold the pencils in place and avoid them tumbling out. Instead, the pencils are just lying in little shallow spaces the same size as the pencils. I would have thought for the number and weight of the 72 pencils would have inspired the company to ensure the pencils wouldn't fall out. Now, if I keep this set, I will need to find some type of bag or box to fit both long trays of pencils. Which adds to the cost of the pencils. Maybe I should have made sure a bag or ? was included and that is my mistake. Unsure if corner of box was damaged before or during shipping but I included the pic anyway. I do not recommend this product if you would like them to be secured like I do to avoid having to buy something else to hold them. I will not be purchasing from this company in the future.
