Highland Van Roof Top Steel Bar Carrier w/ Hardware for Extra Storage

for the price, i did not expect a jaguar. it is a basic rack but very heavy duty steel. one complaint is that the web site shows 1 (one) rack bar for the price, so i ordered 2 (two). it came with 2 boxes, each with 2 rack bars. WalMart took back the 2nd set with no hassle. the problem is with the web site picture and description, not the product.

I ordered this blind, since the description is oddly vague. This product did indeed ship with TWO BARS despite the quantity stating "1" and only one bar pictured. This is not a complaint with the product, just a clarification on the description. I was also worried about sizing due to an equally vague dimension spec. The bars are telescoping, so they will fit most vehicles. All and all the best value for this price I could find. I would recommend.

The stanchions are designed for an L-shaped rain gutter whereas mine are less angled and more straight (Chevy Express van) but they will still grip securely. Very heavy duty, the total weight (2 bars + stanchions is around 22 lbs. Installation is straightforward but be advised you are supposed to drill a 5/16" hole through the 2 piece telescoping bars (4 layers) once installed/fitted to insert a locking bolt - you'll need a very good drill bit (like cobalt). The black/gray marbled finish looks good with my silver van. They've only been on a couple weeks now but I anticipate them holding up very well over time.

Took 3 days after ordering to receive instead of 2 but no problem. Only one locknut short of everything being in the carton. Again no problem as I had one. All in all the rack looks good and strong enough.

Installation was a breeze. Looks great on my 2004 Ford van. Best van roof rack for the money.

Heavy duty and, well worth the price. Fit my E250 perfectly.

Fits vans up to 62 " wide. Only says that on the box.

product is strong and durable, fits on my 2004 chevy 2500 the problem is that i ordered two bars and only 1 bar can in a package. i thought it was supposed to have 2 bars each order
