Absolutely love these shoes! Have helped my aching back! I wear them around the house and when I’m running errands. Will be ordering another pair to use as water shoes for my water aerobics class. You need to try them!
I won't lie, I was skeptical but had nothing to lose. First day wearing these shoes, I had NO knee pain! Considering the previous day was unbearable with pain I knew these were going to work. Day 2 felt like I was walking on clouds. I've been hearing that replacing the insoles are pricey but will skip across that bridge when it happens. I'm so thrilled by them, I'm buying another pair! I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who suffers from knee pain or neuropathy pain.
I received these Hike Footwear shoes rather quickly. I first was quite skeptical, but once I tried them on and actually walked around in them going to town and doing things, I was highly impressed!!! I plan on buying a few more pairs at this price to replace my dress shoes. I know, they are not stylish for dress shoes but they are comfortable and my back, knees, ankles, hips, feet don't hurt in them like all my other shoes do!! I'm nearly 50, and my feet have widened due to arthritis and I used to wear a size 11m, but now I am wearing a 10ww in men's to fit my toe box for comfort. So I purchased a 12-12 1/2 women's/ 10-10 1/2 men's (43, euro size). The toe box is absolutely wonderful!! I can wear them all day!!! My only complaint is that walking on gravel is a bit rough feeling through the sole of the shoes. They are perfectly fine on grass, concrete, and asphalt. I was using the water hose and water splashed on my feet, but the shoes dried rather quickly. they would probably make a good water shoe if those of you are kyaking or boating , etc. This brand makes a slip-on kind, too. I'm definitely in the need for slip-on shoes these days due to my arthritis in my hips. It is hard to cross my legs to put this shoe on without putting the shoe on a chair and lifting my feet into it.
I had thought that you would be able to just slip the shoes on just like sketchers but they don't. That's the only drawback for me and that is because I'm old. That being said I really like the way my feet feel in them. They are very light so we will see how long they last. I would recommend them and I would buy another one once these wear down.
I was having back and leg pain. I noticed walking without shoes, felt comfortable and stable. These gave me what I needed to walk securely and be covered. Regular sneakers were heavy, confining and restricting. These lightweight shoes were perfect, well made and comfortable . A very pleasant relief from the “heaviness and bulky” sneaker. Trust me, give them a try!

First the good: these shoes have definitely and surprisingly helped my balance. I am much more sure footed. They are also super comfortable unless you are on gravel. The not so good: the soles of both pairs have holes caused by the design. I did not realize this until walking in wet grass. Also offer very little protection if walking on gravel. I do intend to seek a better quality barefoot shoe now that I know better balance and stability are possible with this type shoe. But these are not worth the price, basically glorified water shoes.
Con there are multiple holes in the sole of the shoes that go all the way through the sole and into the shoe. So if you step in water more than 2.5mm deep, water is getting in your shoe, wetting the pad, your socks and you :( pros top feels like a snug sock allows toes room flexible sole Something of note: some podiatrist recommend this style of shoe for foot health but if you have foot, knee, back issues, don't wear them for more than 1-2 hours. Your body is taking all the impact and beyond 2hrs of walking on concrete, makes my whole body ache.
Shoes were great at first. Loved the feel and fit. The trouble is that both inner linings and inside soles became detached and fell apart after wearing for just two weeks. 🙁. Waste of money. I'll try the barefoot shoes from a different company because I have been happy with previous brands.
Unfortunately the shoes they sent were used. Whoever had them left an insert in one. The soles were dirty and there were stains and small holes in the tops. This is the third time we've gotten used or open items shipped to us. My son has had to return 3 orders because the items were either used or missing. Who's in the shipping department packaging up damaged or used goods? Do they think we won't notice? Do better Walmart.
