I really like that this has most of the supplies needed to begin a sashiko project. I wish it included a thimble, and also wanted the fabrics to be cotton. However, I will make this work.

Disappointing…cute but small fabrics
Wow. There was nothing to this kit. I was completely deflated when I opened the package. You call those instructions? All in all the price was 3x more than it should have been. The manufacturer probably paid more for the packaging than the contents. I hope Walmart will offer a better selection of Sashiko components, but i cannot recommend this kit and I wish it weren't taking up space in my sewing bag.
