Great for weight loss phase

Nawni June 5, 2026

Good option for weight loss. Low-fat, low-calorie. Cat approved. I'll eventually transition to the Hill's Adult Indoor formula for weight maintenance. Hill's does an amazing job with the mineral content ratios. My cat's fur and skin looks incredible. I just can't go with any other brand.

Great for picky eater

Noa119 September 22, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat is picky eater when it comes to dry food. He has been gaining some weight from having too much wet food but after just 2 weeks of hills science diet food I have noticed changes in him. He is much more active now and seems to be on the way to healthy weight.

My Little Boy LOVES THIS!

SarahW8 August 27, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our little man absolutely loves this food! He is always very excited when we get the bag out and as soon as we put it down he absolutely devours it, he loves the flavour! We have noticed he has lost weight on this food which has been beneficial as he was overweight previously as advised by our vet. Will definitely be buying this again and again for our special little boy.

I was told 25 years ago that the ash and magnesium content are the most important ingredients affecting male kitties and kidney issues (the percentage needs to be low). Ever since then, I've had all my cats on this dry food, and my current kitties (brother and sister) have been eating it for their 15 years with us and doing excellent health-wise. This is the only food I will ever feed these and any kitties I have in the future. Highly recommend it.

I will keep feeding my cat this food

Byfranugccreato6 September 13, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gwen was excited at first because she loves kibble, but she smelled it, tasted it, and didn't like it at first. So I started her on the old kibble, gradually increasing the amount of Hills, until she would go to the pantry door where we keep the food container and meow waiting for us to feed her. After the adjustment period, she simply LOVED the new kibble every time we put food on her bowl. As the weeks went by, we noticed that her hair was softer, choking less on fur, and her poop didn't smell as much. And the icing on the cake is that she lost 150g, making mommy here super proud and a fan, just like her, of Hills Adult Light. It's approved!

Cat gives it a paw up

Tegancasey7 September 2, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Maine coon cross loved it straight away and considering he's normally very fussy with food. his coat seems to be a lot more glossy and he has lost a little bit of weight which is always a bonus considering he is a Garfield of the best of times

Good cat food option for overweight cats

JessiiJay1 September 22, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After the initial shock of changing brands my cat appeared to enjoy this food. He had no digestive issues which was something I was concerned about as he has experienced that in the past. I am unsure if he has lost weight but he definitely hasn't gained any however I believe you need more time to determine that than the month he has been on the food.

totally amazing

cbrig866 September 22, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is excellent cat food, and our little cat absolutely loves it. She's quite food-motivated and looks forward to her daily bowl of kibble every morning. She even wakes us up to remind us it's time for breakfast. Knowing that we can feed her this nutritious food without worrying too much about calories or nutritional content is a relief. Overall, it's fantastic cat food, and has even shed a few pounds over the years thanks to it.

Healthy cat food

Gretarius7 August 28, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats both ate the food sparingly, compared to their normal dry food. It smells like it is quite bland in comparison too (but of course I can't verify that honestly!) The plus side is that my tubby cat does seem to have dropped a bit of weight in the short testing time. Thanks for the opportunity to test :)
