Our elderly cat has had problems with UTIs in the past but not since using this. it isn't more expensive cat food but it has kept us out of the veterinarian's office and from having to pay for antibiotic shots and medication and kept our cat from pain and suffering. She will be 17 this year. 😊

CD Rx diet sub plus no more hairball issues

Stephanie March 2, 2026

Exotic Shorthair cat was prescribed a "CD" food diet after Urine crystals caused illness. Since she's a soft fur breed she also suffered hairball issues. This is the best affordable solution for both. 6 months on $130 CD food still had hairballs, after this was tried temporarily due to budget found out Happy accident that fixed all her and our needs plus savings of 3 times the money. Loved by other Siamese Munchkin cat as well. Thanks for a great product and price.

My cats are doing so much better. It's worth it.

Meridel April 2, 2026

I used to feed my male cat Science Diet because he would get systitus. After he died I had other cats and fed them Iams to save a little money. They were having problems with hairballs, weight gIn, and pooping. So I thought I'd go back to Science Diet. They are doing great with this . I know it costs a bit more, but they are doing so much better. my youngest is getting down to a healthy weight now. They took to eating it right away. I got some bone broth ( formulated for dogs) which I give them also. They are both doing better, they have more energy and their coats are shiny. I'm glad I went back.

My cat had been having stomach issues and he's always been on urinary tract health food so I had to be careful introducing new stuff but this stuff has done wonders for his system I believe. He seems to like it fine and he's had no more runny stool so I'm pleased with it and continue to purchase when it gets low.

All my pets LOVE Hill’s 🩷

Kathy May 1, 2026

I feed nothing but Hill’s to all my pets!! They’ve been eating it for years, and have always loved all the different flavors! The favorite being Metabolic can stew mixed in with their kibble. It’s a hit every time.

My cats are having a hard time adjusting to the food, so I cut the amount back even more. They would gobble it right up. They like it, you can feel the moist kibbles when you touch them. It is slightly pricey, if my cats continue to adjust and it helps their urine/hairballs I will continue to buy. Best price on Walmart, delivered to my door.

Great food but they changed recipe

Sandrew May 8, 2026

My cat has been on this food since I've had him. So a little over 2 years he is now 3. He's long haired and had only had 2 hairballs ever. They changed the recipe of the food a little awhile ago though and now all of a sudden he gained weight. He was steady same weight before that and I measure his food. This is the only thing that changed was the recipe in his diet. They did put more calories in it?

Kibble keeps changing?

Sarah April 21, 2026

The last 3 bags I have ordered have all had different shaped/sized kibbles and I'm not sure why. Thankfully my cats are not very picky but I know for others the most minute changes can be an issue for picky animals.

Refusing to eat

Michele May 8, 2026

Purchased new bags as of late of two different kinds and now one cat refuses it and is losing weight. Not sure if something changed in the formula... The other lets the other stuff sit until he has no choice. I will be donating it and switching

Not Really for Hairball Control

Charlene May 19, 2026

I bought food because I had a cat throwing up hairballs frequently. After this food, she is throwing them up daily and the content is just darker and more difficult to clean up.
