Hillsdale Campbell Wood Twin Junior Loft Bunk Bed, Espresso

I thought the shorter height would be safer but it just gave my toddler room to jump on top bunk so the total safety feel until he can show enough maturity to get on top without standing in jumping. Until then see the picture below and how I Rigged a "Montessori" type bed until then. Sturdy! Was stinky for the first 10 days.

It took me less than an a hour to assemble it and I did all by myself. The picture does make it look taller but it's the perfect height for a toddler. It came with all the tools you'll need

Love it my 7 yr old grandson is super exited. Able to put a bean bag and his gaming chair underneath with plenty of room to move around. He calls it his Clubhouse

Overall love the bed! Was pretty easy to assemble. Perfect for my 5yo. We added string lights underneath, and a 4 cube organizer for books since. Only negative- one of the posts were supposed to have extra holes for the ladder to connect to the right post and none of them did. We didnt notice until that final step and had to Rig it since didnt want to take it all apart and deal with the process of returning/exchanging. Just make sure every detail

This bed is beautiful and nice, however, it came with no instructions (looked all over the internet with no luck) and the bag that keeps the wood fresh in packaging was busted, so pellets where every where all over everything. Complete mess. Wish Walmart would get with the program and upload install instructions in product description in case they are missing.

When we first received the bed we were a little concerned about how well it would hold up. We bought the bed in August for our now 4 year old son. I noticed about two months ago there were some cracks along one of the side boards. Now there are many cracks and the preexisiting ones are growing larger. We do not allow our son to jump, stand, be crazy on his bed. So why there are cracks is concerning. It is my fault for not buying the protection plan but we will definitely not be purchasing this again. The materials used are not that great.

Wood breaks at the slightest bit of pressure

If you have a very small child/ toddler maybe this will work for you but these beds are not made well. They are rickety and fragile. I ordered 2 and each came with cracked pieces. I emailed the manufacturer. it has been 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything back. Luckily my husband is handy and can replace the broken pieces and reinforce the beds. Otherwise they wouldn't last a year.

I ordered 2 of these beds for my girls 5 and 7. As cute as they are, they are absolutely horrible. The wood split, it is very wobbly and unsafe. Unfortunately, its past the timeframe for me to return them but I've wasted a ton of money and as a mom of 4. I do not have any to waste.
