It came in a taped box but the bracket is bent an looks like used before, good thing a bought 2 year warranty Much need chair..

First the positives: The stool appears to be very nice quality and is attractive, appears sturdy (I haven't assembled it and ill explain why), and the fabric is soft and durable. It was accurately described. Why it gets only 2 stars from me: when I opened the box to assemble it, and pulled out all the parts, I sadly discovered that the fabric seat was stained terribly with several dime-sized stains which looks like grease. I went onto my Walmart app to request a replacement, but the options to get the replacement were to repackage it and print a label for pick up (that's impossible because the box was securely glued shut and I had to tear it apart to get this out and I don't have easy access to a printer right now) or physically take it back to a Walmart. I rarely go to a Walmart store- because I lack the time and the distance of the nearest one is inconvenient- thats why I order online through the Walmart app! So, because its a hassle to return this, I am currently scrubbing the fabric with dish soap in hopes to remove the oily stains and just live with it- it's for my dressing room anyway. One final note- where this stool seat sat in the box, the cardboard is completely clean and stain-free, (see last photo), so this happened in the factory. Sadly quality control was lacking. I'm finding more recently that ordering products from third party sellers has been poor experiences- items have been arriving damaged, missing pieces or broken. It has been frustrating over the last few years, and it used to be a much better experience. Things used to arrive intact and damage-free. Now, it seems that I almost expect 50% of what I order will be damaged, missing parts. Thats so sad and unacceptable.
