Good on salads for protein.Same with sandwiches. Buy it all the time! It's a bit more expensive but is very thinly sliced so it lasts for a while. And you can reuse the containers, which is wonderful. The information peels off and they don't smear glue all over so you can get the paper product label off in just a few seconds. They last a while too!
You know, I was eating a different type of honey ham for years (of a different brand). This honey ham brand tastes much better. And as of recent, the price was less than a handful of cents over the other brand of honey ham I was consuming. The plastic container also seems to be much more nifty and convenient for refrigerator shelf storage.
I purchased these to make sliders. I purchased a variety of pre-sliced cheeses, some thin sliced roast beef and everyone made their own combination. Our granddaughters appreciated making their own sliders. We also use this sliced ham to make egg cups. They are low carb, quick to make, and taste great. The sodium content of the ham is higher than I like but for occasional use it's not as bad.
I like this very much. I bought 2 1st time so 1 in fridge and 1 in freezer. Ham and cheese on bread or in a tortilla, in my egg omlet, or in a egg cassarole when I have company. Very handy. I get some alot. I love A ham and cheese sandwich for lunch!
the gang our grandsons were in, kids they went to school with, now--several decades later--still refer to her as NaNa, or Sandwich Lady. she made sandwiches whenever the kids came by. her home-visit nurse missed her lunch last visit, ham sandwich! generic/store mimic-brands just don't quite make it. a reputable product worth the price.
Use this to make sandwiches for lunch, my husband likes it but says you need half the pack in order to taste it because it's so thin, but it is versitile you can add eggs for breakfast %26 also make great ham %26 cheese wraps with added veggies and i like that it has a tight lid to keep it fresh
Thinly sliced and works well for sandwiches and wraps, but, I also like to use this to wrap around pickle spears, spring onions or cheese cubes for a quick nibble when friends come by. Delicious, versatile and it remains nice and fresh thanks to the container.
The meat is delicious. There's different flavors the bigger. The boxes are the better as far as I'm concerned that way I can save some money and when you're on food stamps, you don't have any money now that Trump is in office. We have to spend four times more for the same things that we have always had so we really are crunching down the best we can. I can't afford as much of it as I used to, but I can still afford a box of it a month that way I can get some sandwiches on a nice hot day. Add some cute. Add some cucumbers and celery socks, and you can really reduce your body temperature the seller so bring your temperature down.
For some reason the company has changed the way the ham is sliced. It now coming in a stack of VERY thin wafers of ham. They are sacked all together. They used to be folded into an accordion shape, way easier to remove than it is now. Otherwise great ham!
I purchase this on a weekly basis. On this particular order, when I opened the package, it was heavily marbled with fat. EVERY slice of ham. I cannot feed this to my family. All you can taste was the fat. As as expensive as this is any one pound container, it's extremely disappointing!
