Wow, these oysters are really good. We live in New Mexico, and just returned from Florida, where I had a few "not so good" oyster po boys. I looked around, and was a bit hesitant "we live in New Mexico", but purchased them. They were great tasting. They say "small" and some were, but there are also some fairly large ones. I made a great po boy, and when I have a desire for another, I know where to go.
Great taste. Definitely dont look extra small when you take them out individually (but they do shrink in the oven). I had about 8 total in the container.
Great Oysters! Huge and plump. Great for frying.
Excellent taste and very modest price; stews and scalloped oysters using these .... all 20-21 winter long in our house! Thank you.
This is what their extra small oysters looks like on a saltine cracker! These things are huge! Do not buy this product if you like the oystersâ size in the east.
I bought these for New Years Eve and containers both had Jan 15 2021 Expiration date. The first container opened smelled a little "Strong" but were not expired so We ate a couple of them as were "Fresh" . They tasted foul so We only ate one each and were obviously bad as We both felt Sick to our stomachs about 45 minutes or so after eating, I threw the rest of container out and will throw out the second container I froze also. I presume they weren't handled properly and must have been allowed to warm during shipping or stocking as the container we ate from had a Jan 15 Expiration date. I discarded/misplaced receipts well as would be a long drive back to the Oak Park Hts Walmart if I had to go to place of Purchase to seek refund otherwise I would seek refund as these were both obviously gone bad. Don't waste your Time nor money
The worst tasting oysters I ever had. NASTY!
