Had no idea what to expect. purchased it for my son's room on his 18th bday. He found it on porch and was puzzled by the heft of the box. Upon opening it there was some loose powdery salt but nothing to bad. We just made sure to not knock anymore off. No assembly. plugged it in right away and was just blown away by the beauty and quality for the price. I got his w free shipping of over 35. purchase. Lamp is very SOLID.. Great quality cord w nice dimmer feature. I have now read lamp is 11 to 15 lbs. Lol it sure is. Omg it's gorgeous. Now I want one and I'll be gifting them. 8.00 on clearance people.. hello!! lol Its so relaxing and has a lot of benefits. HOW interesting this pure solid,mineral salt rock is!!!! YES REAL SALT ROCK. My son was surprised. Lol I'm like minerals...earth..salt...Lol mineral tables. Elements. We just laughed so hard. lol Btw it's a good 14inches tall by 6 wide.

Awesome salt lamp! Nice size and I love the dimmer switch, I purchased several of these lamps for family members and friends as gifts to provide a way to lift their spirits caused by the Covid19 Pandemic hoping it helps and as more of my loved ones want one I will continue to order more!

I got this as a wedding gift, it was shipped to my home in great condition. I have a solid salt lamp but this basket is way more beautiful. I don't know if salt lamps really do what people say they do, but it does put a nice clean smell into the home after it warms up. We don't smoke or have pets but some people say these lamps purify smelly odors and I would believe it. I encourage everyone to buy ones of these, people who visit love to look at it and it casts a lovely relaxing glow in the room.

I absolutely love these light bulbs. I don't think the salt does anything as far as air quality goes. What I like so much about these, is the color of light they emit. I like orange light. Blue light hurts my head, so these bulbs are perfect for my lamps and mood lighting. They are not bright, they are dim. They're good bulbs especially if blue light bothers you. Everytime I buy Christmas lights, it's a gamble. These aren't for outdoor. They're best for lamps if you like a soft orange glow. I will be buying more. There are small holes in the top of the bulb. I guess it's so the salt can be aerated, I've heard that salt lamps are not exactly… useful. What I love is the color.

I have only had this for a couple weeks, so I'm not real sure how "durable" it is. But...I loved this so much I ordered 4 more (two larger and two the same size) for gifts and other rooms in my house! What a gorgeous glow and has an adjustable switch for an even softer glow. AND it purifies the air...I love it!

I already had one of the lamps because I had seen one as someone elses house and liked it. I bought this second one as a gift for someone else. Walmart's on line ordering with pick-up at the local store is very convenient and was the deciding factor in buying from Walmart although their price was also the lowest. Workmanship in fitting the base to the lamp is a little crude but I knew that already and it wasn't important to me. I would recommend to others. The only negative feelings I've have had about this are due to being pestered repeatedly by Walmart to write a review.

I couldn't wait to get these, but I didn't realize four were coming, which was great except two of the bulbs were all scrunched up where you twist them into the socket so of course they were defective and wouldn't work but the other two were great and they do have a dim light and I did find a beautiful light and put two of them in that worked perfectly, and it was great of taking the negative ions out of the atmosphere. So yes to the two that actually work and light up and of course, if I'd had more time to return these, I would have been re-ordered, but it's too close to the holidays.

I was pleasantly surprised by the dimmer and the lit lamp looked beautiful. It worked however the base was loose and the salt chunk was top-heavy and a lop-sided. It would teeter when I sat it on a flat surface and, as it was the 11 lb. salt lamp (heavier than you'd think!), I was worried that too much movement around the lamp would make it fall to the floor. Out of fear that I'd come home to see it in pieces on the ground one day, I returned it and I am ordering another one in the hopes that it will be more like the picture (more narrow at the top and bottom-heavy with a more solid base).
