It's an old office style with each drawer having a little tab you have to push before you can open it. I find it unnecessary, but also have nothing against it. You can lock it if needed which is nice. It's a good file cabinet but nothing special.

This would be great in a business situation where you need sturdy furniture and lots of storage. I like the color choices. I like the feel of the finish, I like the sleek modern look of it, and the fact that it is lockable. I also like the spaces for inserts to show what is in the drawers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact that the cabinet is long enough for a few files PLUS my manuals and notebooks. It has a huge capacity for file and things. The putty color goes with everything and the lock is really sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Standard design file cabinet that would work more for an official office and not a home office. It has the look of an industrial filing system. The finish is an odd color and may not work in all offices.

The two units I ordered arrived ahead of schedule, and the boxes looked pretty unscathed. One of the two arrived in good condition. The other has a corner or the front face of a drawer bent in. I can't keep this one. In the non-damaged unit, there are two follower blocks in one drawer, and none in the other. Since each block and its glides are riveted together, I see no way to move one to the vacant drawer without damaging the drawer. I can't keep this unit, either.
