I was so pleased and so Happy with the TV when I got it it was perfect for me as I live alone, and I could set it all up all by myself and I even have a satellite dish and I still was able to set everything up with no problem.. very very happy. The price was in my budget and it's perfect for my bedroom. Would highly recommend this TV. Picture is fabulous. and it's really really good and the color is good.

Only had this a month, so cannot speak too longevity. It seemed an expensive, was easy to get hooked up to watch Stanley Cup finals, and now continue to use for other purposes. We have an old add-on DVD player that we are able to connect and use. This fits just inside of our existing armoire which was very important to our space.

Was looking for an inexpensive but nice little TV to replace the one we had. Brought this one and I'm super impressed. The picture quality is crisp. The tv weighs close to nothing and the connection is a breeze. My only gripe is the volume, very flat sound and not loud enough to hear over the hot tub when the jets are on. The remote is a standard remote, works well. The Roku set up is a breeze and even easier if you already have an account.

I am very disappointed in the sound volume on the TV. I cannot hear it when the air conditioning is running. Not can I hear it in the next room with the French doors wide open. Also, it is sold as a 40 inch TV but measures 35 inches across. I don’t really mind the size, but the sound matters a lot to me. I bought a 40-inch Hisense TV nine years ago. It had much better sound and measures 38 inches across. It appears that the new Hisense TV is an example of « shrinkflation ».

My old TV failed to come on, so I needed another one quickly. I found this one, delivered in a couple of hours. Great. The overall picture is fine, clear and crisp, good colors… until you get to a black screen. There’s a not-so-faint white spherical shape directly in the middle of the screen… on every black screen. When the picture is colorful, if it’s there, it can’t be seen. It’s annoying. But it’s a 40” television that cost just over $100. It’s not serious enough for me to return, I’ll deal with it. If it doesn’t last, I can’t be too mad. Hoping it’ll give me a couple of good years of watching. And the volume sucks!! I have to have it on volume 10 to even hear anything. My old TV was loud on 3. Since my previous TV was a Roku as well, all I had to do was add my channel apps — I was already logged in. I’ll come back to update. If I remember.

Seems like a solid deal, roku tv, decent size, decent price. However, it looks like this TV has sound issues, learning this from an online forum. My TV has it, I have to unplug and plug back in each time I use it for the sound to “reset”. Wondering if it is a lemon and return it to Walmart or it is a Hisense tv issue regardless. Good luck

I didn't get my order and y'all refused my refund because your delivery driver gave my package to someone else that don't live here and it got stolen!

On the web site it shows where you can hook up A/V jacks( red /white/yellow ports), One of the reasons I bought this TV.( for use with older video game systems), when I got the TV out of the box at home it did not have these hookups, now I need to buy a converter at an additional cost. False Advertising Hisense/ Walmart.

Do not purchase this TV. I had numerous problems and WAlmart would not take it back . I had the TV less than 90 days and I was told to contact Hisense. Hisense sent a technician out to my home to do the repair. The technician refused to make the repair and said the screen was cracked internally. When I called Hisense again I spoke to someone who could hardly speak English. He finally said Hisense would not do anything to repair or replace the tv and hung up on me. DO NOT BUY HISENCE TVS. I am a WalMart associate.

The Hisense television wasn’t great to begin with. I constantly had to restart it and it was consistently pixelated. Now, four months after I bought it , it’s completely broken. There is no screen damage that I can see. I did not move or jostle the tv. I walked my dog, I came home and it looked like the picture attached. Of course it’s outside of the warranty period! I’m going to try to contact if things go well I will edit this review.
