Hisense 55" Class 4K UHD LED Roku Smart TV HDR 55R8F

Great TV we are really enjoying it. It was easy to set up and the picture is great. The Roku integration is nice. It does understand speech but it is not as good as Alexa.

Upon receiving and installing I was immediately impressed. The setup process was user friendly and very easy to get through. Once I got the TV up and running I couldn't be more pleased and more amazed at the picture. The clarity and color really pop and provide a very vivid screen. During the day, during the night, the picture was always great. In addition to the picture, the TV has all the great features you can expect from a quality TV including connecting to my iPhone as a remote, use of WiFi for Roku and other apps and much more. I would highly recommend this TV to family and friends and look forward to my next Hisense

We received our TV a little later due to impacts of shipping, however we weren't let down. Unboxing was half the fun! Having previously owned a Roku player, this television has one built in. Eliminating the need for additional outlets or an ethernet cable. Easily mount to the wall with your own equipment or use the television stands that are included. Adjust stands to your preference as a few slots are available to use for what works best for you. Step by step on-screen instructions are clear and concise, allowing for even the most technological skill lacking individual to succeed. Voice command remote can turn on/off television, open apps, volume control, change channels and more! So much fun. Connect your mobile phone for more interactive features with ease. Picture clarity is amazing, but does take a bit to get used to as details within the picture on screen is so realistic. Great sound quality, no need for a sound bar whatsoever.

I got this TV with no previous experience with the Hisense brand and I am so impressed with it! We have used several video game consoles with it watched TV and movies and we are all in love!! The picture is so clear it actually looks like people are standing in front of me, the sound is fantastic, the set up was very easy, the TV is light weight and very thin, we love having the roku built in, all our favorite streaming apps ready to go with one convenient remote! We love it!!  

Do not use for gaming. So far the television meets all our needs. It was delivered earlier than expected which was a special treat.

Overall it is a very beautiful TV. My only problem and the reason for 4 stars, is that it has a narrow viewing range meaning, as you move over 25 degrees left or right, the picture color fades and the viewing is reduced. So, as long as you are viewing within a 20 degree angle, it is a beautiful picture. It is very easy to navigate and change settings and ROKU built in is a definite plus. But head on, this is the most beautiful picture I have ever had and the sound is quite good as well, however, a sound bar and sub woofer improves any TV sound. It also has great anti-reflection. My old TV was difficult to watch in the evening as some table lamps reflected on the screen too much. This TV eliminated that relection. Great improvement. For the price, it is an excellent deal. So, to improve the viewing range you need to spend a lot more. I can live with this in our living room as all seating is within this 20 degree range.

While this tv has great picture and sound the photos of it are somewhat misleading. It shows the picture on the screen with practically no bezel and on the top and sides it shows the picture going to within 1/8 of an inch or smaller of the top and sides. Not so. I measured the bezel and it's 1/16th of an inch but when you are watching something there is a 1/4 inch black border also. So don't believe the photos. Other than that the tv is great. It really makes the picture very clear even non 4k. My DvD player works just fine with it and even with my budget DVD player it makes the videos a lot clearer than a 720p or 1080p tv. I haven't watched blu-ray or a 4k movie on it yet. Another minor problem is no browser. I will be using my computer with it so that can be overcome. Personally if I had known the photo's were misleading before I unpacked it and programmed it I would have researched other TV's. Not saying I would have bought another one but definitely did more research.

I got this tv for watching movies in HDR etc. but since the tv has low latency I wanted to use it for gaming. hooked it up to my ps4 pro and my god the ghosting is horrible i actually had to go out and buy a monitor I shouldnt see triple to quad hands when they are slightly moving I only recommend this tv for watching tv and movies gaming i strongly recommend u pay extra for a better tv

Hisense technical support is terrible. After just one month this ROKU TV stopped displaying the time on the screen, indicating that it was not connected to the Internet. After rebooting ROKU many times it would take the TV several minutes to connect to the Internet and still not display the time on the home screen. Hisense technical support blamed it on my Internet Service provider, which is not the case, since my four other ROKU TV's work perfectly on the same internet router. This model TV has a bad ROKU software version which does not connect and work properly, even when updated, or possibly a bad wi-fi card. Hisense support was no help after an hour of troubleshooting.

worst tv woke up to it doing boot loop little over a year. do not buy!!!
