Hisense - 55" Class U8 Series MiniLED QLED UHD 4K HDR Smart Google TV (2025)

Purchased TV to go outside where it’s very sunny and the picture brightness is very good. It is not an outside tv but a great picture in bright light. It is much heavier than a cheaper tv.

This is an absolute amazing TV…I’ve been purchasing Hisense TV’s over the past 10 years, and not one has ever failed me! This new 65” U8G series for me is the best upgrade yet! The picture is top shelf and the sound quality is amazing using a (Bose Premium Home Theater System)! Rather streaming Movies, Music, Sports, and TV Shows this one is a keeper! I hope it stands the test of time!

I've been extremely impressed with this TV so far. The picture quality is outstanding, with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and excellent brightness. Movies look fantastic, especially with Dolby Vision content, and the Mini-LED technology really helps bring out the detail in both dark and bright scenes. For gaming, the 165Hz refresh rate makes a noticeable difference. Gameplay feels incredibly smooth and responsive, with no noticeable lag or motion blur. The TV handles fast-paced games very well and delivers a great overall gaming experience. The Google TV interface is easy to use, apps load quickly, and setup was straightforward. The built-in sound is also better than I expected for a TV in this size range. Overall, this is an excellent value for the price. Whether you're watching movies, streaming shows, or gaming, the Hisense U88QG delivers premium performance without the premium price tag. Highly recommended.

Took the plunge in buying a 85 inch TV so i could really enjoy the World cup we already had a 65 inch 2022 Hisense TV so moved that one to another room . The TV is amazing great colors and deep blacks and very fast in processing nice app selection that work well so far very happy with the TV

Overall I feel is has a much better picture than previous mini LED but the original picture settings were awful. Once you dial it in it is much better. Be sure to go a little negative on the black level under brightness. My 2 year old 77” LG OLED still has a better picture IMHO.

So far, just a week of having a product it seems it's working fine. The issue that I had is with the shipper not as much as with Walmart the box was different box that was advertise showing it had these additional features on it so I really don't know if I got the correct TV or not try to get hold of Walmart and of course they use AI and it was impossible to get a clarity why I got a different box that showed in the picture. Technically they want to set up a return, but that's a hassle and I didn't want to return it if I did get the right unit and maybe they changed the box. I don't know. Very frustrating. I wish someone would call me or get in contact me about this issue.

Replacing a 14 year old Samsung 65" 1080 p to this beast 85" U88QG. A little tweaking here and there for my own personal preferences and I'm moved. This tv does it all. Beautiful and bright and big!! I'm about 11' away and it's like I'm at the theatre. Hooked up to 7.1 stereo for the ultimate experience My only beef is the tv automatically starts on home screen and its not a smart remote. You just cant get out of the menu, lots of back buttoning, but I can live with it. You won't regret buying this tv.

CAVEAT EMPTOR- Be careful to recognize that the tv uses a google operating system that you cannot load a Spectrum App on if you want to utilize TV streaming from Spectrum. You must get a Xumo streaming box if you want to use the Spectrum TV streaming service. The google OS is somewhat finicky. Trying to navigate to a specific tv show or movie unless you use Voice is clunky. Pressing the back button on the remote sometimes does nothing and when you turn the TV on instead of going to the last channel ( even after changing settings) it takes you to a menu of app windows. Wish I had purchased a model that had a Roku Operating System other than the above, the TV has a very bright and beautiful 4K picture. Tried to use Dolby Audio but every time I tried to adjust the volume I would get an error stating I needed to change audio to PCM to use volume controls. I called Hisense customer service about the inability to load the Spectrum App and they told me it was a Spectrum issue not theirs and I needed to get a firestick if I wanted to load Spectrum Streaming App from the Play Store. I connected my firestick only to find out it won’t load the Spectrum App either.

we got this TV in April. it has been turned on maybe two dozen times in that much time. today I turned it on, it went to the Google TV logo then I heard a pop noise inside of it and it's stopped working. I contacted Hisense and they said it sounds like it's been damaged so that's not counted under the warranty so get a local repairman to fix it or buy a new TV. I've learned my lesson. even though the picture was super clear I will not be buying a Hisense TV again.

I will never recommend this product if it comes with a defect they will not cover under warranty of one year it is fake advertising and you can law sue them because they do it with every tv and they will treat you with the worst customer service ever so make sure you don't buy this product because they don't help u with anything
