Hisense 55 Inch Class - U88KM Series - 4K ULED Mini LED TV 55U88KM

The Hisense TV 55U68KM-55 delivers great picture quality, sound, and features at a competitive price. However, I did notice some lag during system navigation, which can occasionally disrupt the otherwise smooth experience. If this minor issue could be addressed, it would be close to perfect. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've had the 75 inch U88KM for about a week now and have done a lot of testing. The TV gets very bright, especially full screen. Contrast is very good and the local dimming works very well. It's not perfect OLED blacks but any kind of ambient lighting will make the blacks look perfect. The colours are very impressive as well. Gaming wise, it accepts a 12 bit signal, displays 444 chroma in HDR at 4k 120 Hz with my NVIDIA RTX card. I've heard with AMD it can do 4k 144hz, but I haven't been able to get to 144 Hz on my card. It has a glossy finish despite what's written in the specs, which looks very shiny and clean, but if you have a bright window reflecting off the screen, it can be distracting. The software is finicky, but the picture quality is amazing. Overall I would recommend it, it's a good quality TV at its price point. 75 inches, reaches over 2000 nits, very dark blacks, excellent colours.

Just setting it up, but I can't believe the incredible picture and ease of use so far. Compared to the u68n and u78n, u88 has crisp visuals and contrast. True black. Love it!

I just got this tv but so far so good. There's a lot of privacy policy accepting to do in order to use all the features

Have the tv for over 6 months and it's very good, the only thing that irritates me is the Google Tv. It's laggy and slow to load apps. Gave up on using it and the experience is much smoother now. Even the tv settings menus are faster. If curious, I'm now using a Roku 4k stick.

TV came within 2 days and i quite enjoyed it. It took a little moment to set up and update but once it was running, it was quite fast and smooth. Originally i debated if i should get the 55" instead but the 65" is pretty good. Not insane size for my apartment

It's picture quality is second to non though the issue i noticed is the screen sometimes give you this color seperation (black & white).

During my first month with this TV I was really happy with it. But the more I used it I started to realize a number of issues that have led me to not recommend this TV. Firstly the picture and sound on this TV is really good. No complaints there. But it's other things. - 7/10 when I turn on the TV I have to toggle off and on the WiFi. - 2/10 times when I try turn on the TV using the remote it requires a reboot - Occasionally I have to reinstall some of the apps I use because there would be a logo. Issue. These issues make for a difficult user experience. And considering how much this TV is I'd think it would not be this buggy.

Tv has a great picture if you calibrate it and use local dimming. But it will wake you up at random times by turning itself on. This makes it a do not buy item until this is resolved.

There is a problem with Display. After 1.5 years the display had yellow spots. Surprised how soon it went bad. @ Hisense - can you help ?
