Bought this tv, it's easy to setup and it has a great picture. Definitely can't beat it for the price.
Loving this TV was nervous buying as I did my homework and was pretty even with likes and dislikes...I am so glad I have it a chance I am not disappointed. It did take a bit of adjustment with my TV receiver as t the TV was set to 4k which I don't have but once I got the settings down I feel in love... Excellent sound and UI...I would highly recommend this TV.
An excellent TV. I researched a lot of TVs in the ULED and QLED area and decided with this one. I didn't want a standard LED TV and I didn't want to spend the money for a OLED so I went with something in between which was this ULED by hisense. The picture and sound quality is very good. If you want spacious surround sound you need more equipment for that. The viewing angle is very good. The remote is very good. Navigating through the menu is quick and responsive. I use an antenna for TV so this works very well also. Bluetooth to my earbuds sync every time. With 4 HDMI, digital audio out, 2 USB ports, antenna hook up and rca jacks it has everything coved for anything you have. No issues with playing movies or videos from USB devices. Can't say anything negative about this tv.
This television I've been using for 2 years now, and it's worked beautifully. There are some small things I've come across, like at time the remote will unpair from the TV, and the TV will forget wifi networks randomly at times.
Getting the tv started is a mission. 30 mins and tv is still setting up.
Excellent picture.....fairly easy to navigate the various settings menus. The remote is well laid out but wish it had a Sleep button in the remote rather than having to navigate thru a few menus to find it. It does have a recurring problem that when turned out there is sound but no picture. Only after I change the input to an eternal source such as FireTV will the picture turn on. My one attempt to contact Hisense customer service was met with silence.
I found the colors and brightness of the TV to be somewhat overwhelming. Had I tweaked the settings more I might have been able to achieve a more "real world" appearance on the screen. I returned the TV, not because of the previous, but because the tuner in my example was substandard for broadcast channels. I don't think manufacturers are putting much effort into their tuners nowadays but they need to remember there are still huge numbers of people that rely on an antenna for a good portion of their television viewing. Tuner performance is still very important.
Even though this TV runs on Android it uses an old version!! Take NOTE! That means apps like Xfinity Stream will not work on this TV! Hisense should make it known that the version of Android used on this TV is old! At some point apps may not run unless Hisense updates the version. After talking to technical support they are unable to tell you if the version will ever be updated!
Really disappointed with this tv. Apps constantly freeze up and you get a black screen. You have to turn power off to tv to get it working again. You can't adjust aspect ratio, a lot of streaming movies look terrible because the aspect is squished together and gaps on each side of tv. Spent an hour researching and it seems most people have the same issue with hisense tv. Pretty sad because my 10 year old tv that I thought I was upgrading has this capability. You should pass on this tv and go with a different brand. I have had it for 7 months now and even my kids are begging me to hook our old one back up.
Terrible! do not buy... error messages grom the time i went ro set it up. Was no display so i took the chance. Incredibly disappointed. Blacks all look gray and there appears to be a fog or haze over the picture. i can see vertical lines across the entire screen. Needless to say its going back.
