Awesome deal, awesome tv!!!

Jessica January 15, 2021

We got this tv for our son for Christmas. We are very happy with, honestly, everything about it! Its absolutely worth the price and I would 100% recommend this tv to anyone! Its actually shocking to me that you can get a smart tv at this size and quality! This was definitely a good buy!! The pic I provided was while my son was gaming, he had his bedroom light off but you can see it has a great picture!!

Great deal.

I was long over due for a smart tv. I upgraded from a 27 inch to this 58 inch to my surprise, the sound and picture quality was superb. Price was very reasonable too.. This television is a high quality tv for an excellent price.

Nice

Apart from the bad reviews this tv is good. Don't have it delivered like the people in bad review did.

Hard to beat for the price.

I'll start off by mentioning Walmart safely delivered this TV to me in 2 business days. Pretty impressive. We settled on a Hisense based on Consumer Reports reviews and customer feedback on various vendor sites. Here is the bottom line on this extremely inexpensive TV. The picture quality is very good and probably more than adequate for most people. It really shines when you feed it 4K material. That said, you need to go into the setup mode and change a few things to get a great picture. First, change the default picture mode which is set on Power Saver" to "normal" or "vivid". You may also, depending on your preferences, want to slightly tweak the brightness and contrast. Once you do this you will see a MUCH better picture. We like the integrated Roku and the easy to use intuitive Roku remote. The TV does have two relatively minor weak points. First, the TV does not have an RGB input. So if you have older equipment or games and prefer RGB, you'll need to settle for the composite input or the F connector. Second, the TV's viewing angle is adequate but not great if you place the TV too close to your viewing area. At nearly 60 inches this is a fairly large TV that works best in a larger room. But even if you do put the TV in a smaller room and view it from an extreme angle the compromise is only minimal. The bottom line. The TV easily competes with models twice the price. At less than $300 delivered this is an extraordinary deal.

Worked for 6 months

Jeremy August 24, 2020

Bought this TV to replace a 50 inch element tv that broke about 6 months ago. For the past 6 months i have had 0 issues with this tv until this past week. The tv display will not power up despite their being no crack in the screen and the power light being illuminated and reacting to the input from the remote. I attempted to troubleshoot it for several hours and contacted a tv repair company who explained to me that this is a common problem with these hisense tvs and would most likely need a motherboard replacement which is extremely frustrating. The tv is only 6 months old. I have had tvs for years without issues. It was nice while it worked. You get what you pay for

I would like to give a positive review yet the experience I have had dealing with this purchased is preventing me from doing so. I bought the TV got it home and mounted only to turn it on and it was cracked I have been waiting for a replacement or refund for over a week now and that is not including the week it took for Walmart to get the system updated saying that I picked up the TV so they say because the app is still saying I can come pick it up and online it's saying that it is pending cancelation ugh my head is starting to hurt with this situation

STAY AWAY

Najee August 13, 2020

Ordered this as an upgrade for my moms TV for her birthday. 1st one showed up to her doorstep and the deliver guy didn't ring the doorbell left package standing upright on a brick wall. Opened it to install it was extremely cracked. Replacement sent out two days later. It was cracked once again. Went to local store and got a 3rd replacement for pickup asked to see it if works in store, they wouldn't let me. I brought it to my moms house and low and behold it was cracked. Don't trust these cheap TVs from Walmart. Just spend a few hundred more bucks and get a Samsung from best buy with professional assistance.

Sucks

Farren November 10, 2020

I have yet to find a screen share option to Bluetooth option. Not to smart of a smart tv. Hard to get the picture to fit the screen and look right. It runs a reduced size if you want a clear normal looking picture. If you want it full screen everything is stretched out of shape. Would not buy again. Remote sucks, very small and the volum mute buttons are on the side, every time I move the remote it shuts off the sound. 5 min of product testing with a focus group would have been worth their time.
