Hisense picture quality is so clear and crisp! The colors are bright and everything you would expect from an ultra DH TV. It is amazing in real life! The set up from start to finish is very easy. You will also have to enter your wifi info because this bad boy got built in apps like Netflix, Youtube and much more. On the remote, you can just actually press the youtube or Netflix button and it will take you right to it. So cool! As much as I watch Youtube and Netflix, this comes in handy. This TV will also stream photos and videos from your iPhone. I find that really cool! This TV is thin, not too heavy and built really well! It does so much more and we love that it's Alexa compatible as well. We still need to set that up but we are in no hurry, we can use the remote for now. Such a great TV for a great price! I highly recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This tv is lightweight, and has a ton of features to offer. It has clear picture quality and also has a great stock sound system built in. It's smart the software is easy to use and smooth to operate. I would definitely recommend this brand to anyone inquiring about a great brand that is affordable. I got this TV for my husband for father's day. He has been wanting a 4k TV for so long. This 55 ' was affordable. My husband was so excited, The 1st thing he did was play his PS4 pro in 4k and it was really nice. The size is just right and the pictures are beautiful. It has so many cool apps to watch movie's and play games. We are absolutely enjoying this TV. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I received this TV last week, and mounting it on my wall and setting it up was a breeze. Everything was well explained and the features are great! I will definitely recommend to a friend. The picture is colorful and clear, and it is WiFi compatible, which allows me to watch Netflix and Hulu when I want. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I was so excited to get my TV in. When I received it unfortunately my TV was cracked. I will update my review once I see if I can get it fixed. It does have some really great features and looks like a wonderful TV just wish I knew for sure. The TV includes all the streaming apps that I look for and I was happy to see it also has fandango now which is something I haven't been able to get on my other smart tv. Why 4 stars well...It would be a great TV but they fail to tell you that it doesn't have an Amazon Prime App. It does Netflix, Vudu and some others but no Amazon, Google TV, Movies Anywhere. It's just firmware and I'm sure licensing. They need to fix this to make this TV great. Is it a $5000 OLED, no but it is very good overall. The remote is better than Vizio. Picture is good. Refresh rate seems better than TCL. 3 hdmi's.
I've heard this now for about 5 days and I love it. The picture is very clear, the remote is easy to use, the apps are great, and sound is very good. I use it with my Xbox One and it's perfect. My only small complaint is YouTube cuts out to a black screen occasionally but I use my Xbox mainly, and I haven't been able to configure the picture and sound settings outside of the modes they give you. Not a big deal. Overall very happy!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Over all is a great tv, a little sad HULU doesn't come as an option. I knew that before I bought the tv. This is my 2nd Hisense. The problem I have with the tv is that it came with a damaged optical audio port. I contacted Hisense and they said that there would be no problem for them to fix it, is was a defect from the company. But when I tried to set up the appointment to have the tv fixed, they decided that it was not a company defect but damage in box. So I needed to return to the retailer. But by the time it took Hisense to decide all of this the 90 day return window was up.. Horrible choices by Hisense, now I have to live with a broken optical audio port.
As a few others have mentioned, we've bought several of this same model, assuming that the problems were isolated, but they are not. The first TV randomly shut off - sometimes preceded by a period where it is unresponsive to the remote. It was necessary to cycle power in order to get it to start again. The second TV arrived smashed. The manufacturer's box is not rugged enough, and Walmart does not put it in a shipping box. It arrived with a dent and a tear, and with two of the four plastic stays that hold the box together missing. The screen was badly broken. The third one does the same thing that the first thing did. I contacted Hisense customer service. The chat was useless, so I called. I was told they needed to escalate the problem and that they would call back by last Wednesday. Today is Sunday. Crickets. I've wasted far more time setting up, repackaging, and returning the TVs. Also, I paid for one of them with two separate forms of payment (used up a gift card and charged the rest), so Walmart won't refund my card. Instead, they insisted on putting the full amount on a gift card, which is kind of a drag.
This tv is garbage. Anyone that thinks this tv has good picture quality has never owned a TV with good picture quality. My 10 year old plasma TV has WAAAAYYY better picture quality than this and I just bought my son a 55 inch Element 4K TV. That TV also has WAAAAYYY better picture quality that this Hisense 4K. It doesn't even look like 4K. It looks like 720i. The TV is advertised having a 120hz refresh rate, but the back of the TV on the manufacturer's label is says clear as day 60HZ. I will be returning this TV. I am so frustrated!
