Great value for the price. The picture quality with Dolby Vision is amazing, and this model even has eARC which the Android TV version doesn't have. The only limitation for any TV with this type of panel and at this price point is the viewing angles will be limited (colours will look dull from viewing off to the side). You would have to spend significantly more to eliminate that. Definitely a better value than more well-known brands like Samsung and LG at this price point.
I love how fast the set up, use and updates were as soon as I turned it on. Within minutes I was gaming and watching movies for the rest of the night
I read reviews and talked to electronics store staff before making a purchase. Hisense was unknown to me, but since acquiring Sharp it has been gaining a solid reputation. I could not find a better TV at this price point, and have not disappointed. Picture is beautiful - great color options, very bright, good shading. And we already owned and loved another Roku TV - no simpler smart TV app out there! Time will tell how it holds up, but it's been great so far. We route sound through a soundbar/sub setup, but the built-in sound is good.
very happy for amount of money i paid for this tv. love the roku apps only downfall is the commercials in the middle of the movies ... luv the * on the remote for the picture and all sound settings for the tv and the gaming is awesome on this tv . fits great on a 44" tv stand comfortably. Easy to install your netflix disney and prime apps . The tv is extremely light so be careful handling this tv and etremely thin as well. But overall great price for a 55" tv
Very satisfied, the Colors are great but you need to be seated in front or at max 30 to 40 degrees angle to appreciate it. The price was very good for a 55 inches. Also I didn't want to buy another Samsung or LG at a higher price and ending up dead after 4 and 5 years of used. The only thing I don't like is the remote is a bit slow to power on the tv even if I'm close and in front of the tv.
If you watch it from youtube, the image is very cool, but if you watch it from a browser, the picture just sucks.
We bought this tv a little over a month ago and just put it up last week. When we plugged the hdmi cable to the tv to our receiver, it said no connection. We tried every single hdmi combination and ended up plugging it directly into the Shaw box. Which means we have only the tv sound, not our surround,. We purchased 3 different hdmi cables only to have the same result. We can have surround sound with no picture or picture with no sound or pink and green picture with no sound. We're going to return it, disappointing because the picture is really good.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID! Bought the 55" Hisense a little over 1 year ago. Of course being just over the 1 year warranty means I'm up the creek without a paddle (without a tv too). It was a nice tv with decent sound and picture until it died. Shame on you Hisense, for making such a weak product.
I would not buy Hisense.. I bought brand new 2 and half years ago and It just stop working for no reason. My brother bought Samsung 6 years ago and it still works perfect. I should have listened to him 😢😢😢
We have this TV in our office for client presentations. Good luck trying to play media from a USB. The port is not listed in the inputs...like every other manufacturer. Checked out the forums. This seems to be a common issue. Every other TV we've had is plug and play off a USB. After 2 hours of formatting files and .m3u files I've given up. Time to go back to our LG. No issues with them...drag and drop and then insert USB, select, play. done.
