Purchased TV to go outside where it’s very sunny and the picture brightness is very good. It is not an outside tv but a great picture in bright light. It is much heavier than a cheaper tv.
This is an absolute amazing TV…I’ve been purchasing Hisense TV’s over the past 10 years, and not one has ever failed me! This new 65” U8G series for me is the best upgrade yet! The picture is top shelf and the sound quality is amazing using a (Bose Premium Home Theater System)! Rather streaming Movies, Music, Sports, and TV Shows this one is a keeper! I hope it stands the test of time!
ive been a Samsung guy for a long time, but went with this brand and saved so much! Its awesome gaming at 165hz , this us the best tv ive ever purchased. Highly recommended!
i saw many online reviews of this U series and they were right! The picture is outstanding at 5k nits and clarity is next level. The U series is the premier level of their mix. The operating system uses Google and its lightning fast. One if the Best tvs on market for the price.
Can't say enough about this tv, the picture is excellent the sound is amazing, great looking tv for the price, will be buying another one in the near future, only had it about a month, I am 100 per cent happy with my purchase, if any problems in the future will let you know. Happy customer
TV quality is fantastic! Minor nuisances: I occasionally have difficulties with network connection, but I think that may be an issue with my Wi-Fi router. AirPlay sometimes doesn't work when connecting a second time with the same device, this is likely a software issue and a workaround is to require the TV to prompt for the four digit passcode every time a device connects and not remember previous devices.
The picture is what I'd expect at this Price point, excellent. The sound is not as good as my old Yamaha soundbar which I'll continue to use. The Google OS is my primary point of concern, way too many ads on the home screen. If you select apps only on the home screen, then you lose voice functionality, not a good trade-off. I won't buy another Google TV. I'm using Roku on my other six TVs. I hope Roku will catch up in picture quality as their OS is much better.
This TV shows a lot of promise out of the box. I was impressed watching my favorite college football team last Saturday. However, I was not impressed with Walmart's after-purchase price policies. I tend to shy away from reviews that stray from reviewing the product, and focus more on the actual buyer experience , i.e. shipping, customer service, yada yada yada. Still, I would like to share my experience regarding 1) Walmart's Price Match Policy and 2) Walmart's Price Adjustment Policy. Shortly after my purchase (within 7 days), Walmart online competitors (BestBuy and Amazon) reduced their prices significantly. I erroneously thought Walmart still price matched. WRONGO! Walmart does NOT PRICE MATCH their competitors prices. Watching the item online, I saw that Walmart did drop the price, though, eventually to $100 LESS than I paid. I called my local Walmart and was told to come down for a PRICE ADJUSTMENT. However, once I got to Customer Service, I was nicely informed that I was given incorrect information. Walmart stores cannot adjust prices on ONLINE sales. Instead, if you are within the return window you can bring the item into the store and RETURN IT for a full refund. Then, you can REPURCHASE the item ONLINE (or in store) for the reduced price. That's fine for a coffee maker. But a 67-pound TV package that's already installed? Not so much. I strongly recommend that Walmart ONLINE shoppers compare Walmart Price Policies with their competitors' online price match and price adjustment policies to receive the best buy possible.
CAVEAT EMPTOR- Be careful to recognize that the tv uses a google operating system that you cannot load a Spectrum App on if you want to utilize TV streaming from Spectrum. You must get a Xumo streaming box if you want to use the Spectrum TV streaming service. The google OS is somewhat finicky. Trying to navigate to a specific tv show or movie unless you use Voice is clunky. Pressing the back button on the remote sometimes does nothing and when you turn the TV on instead of going to the last channel ( even after changing settings) it takes you to a menu of app windows. Wish I had purchased a model that had a Roku Operating System other than the above, the TV has a very bright and beautiful 4K picture. Tried to use Dolby Audio but every time I tried to adjust the volume I would get an error stating I needed to change audio to PCM to use volume controls. I called Hisense customer service about the inability to load the Spectrum App and they told me it was a Spectrum issue not theirs and I needed to get a firestick if I wanted to load Spectrum Streaming App from the Play Store. I connected my firestick only to find out it won’t load the Spectrum App either.
I will never recommend this product if it comes with a defect they will not cover under warranty of one year it is fake advertising and you can law sue them because they do it with every tv and they will treat you with the worst customer service ever so make sure you don't buy this product because they don't help u with anything
