Hisense Chest Freezer FC51D7AWD 5.1 cu. ft, White

My wife and I replaced a large, upright freezer that was located in our garage with this unit which fit comfortably in a closet inside the house (allowing plenty of room around it for ventilation). I sold the old freezer on Craigslist and bought this replacement with the proceeds. The old freezer made it difficult to get in and out of our car (which we actually keep in the garage). This was the prefect fit and the perfect solution for us. We liked it so well, I bought another one for my Mom a couple of months later. I ordered online and when I picked it up at the store, the price was about $20 less than the online price which they credited back to my account.

Amazing that my Walmart just happened to have one on the self. I had given up looking. Its light weight, quiet and hold a decent amount of food. Using primarily for my bulk products from Costco. Only had a few days so I cant speak to reliability but setup was quick and so far I'm impressed.

Don’t let the reviews fool you, this is a great little chest freezer! It’s the perfect size for me and my husband, and probably small families of 3-5. I will say the item was damaged when we got into the box, which was disappointing, but it’s only cosmetic. Hopefully walmart will offer a credit towards accepting a damaged item, but it doesn’t impact the functionality!

Nice freezer, good price. Most of these bad reviews are people complaining about lack of inventory. Unfortunately it was missing one of the feet so it loses one star. No big deal tho and I'm not returning it due to chest freezers being hard to find right now. Gets cold fast, nice and quiet

I bought this for my daughter who hasa large family and needed to buy more meats when on sale and store them its worked great she can now store about a months worth of meat for her family of 6

We purchased this item and when we opened the box it came damaged in many places. However it was lightweight and is big enough. Doesn?t make any noise

Ordered Hisense freezer but mine was 6.9 cu. ft. Arrived via Fedex and although box only had one slightly bent corner the freezer had major damage to lid. After three calls this matter remains unresolved. Since freezers are impossible to find I opted to keep it and receive a credit. After refusal to look at pictures of the damage a very minimal credit was offered. To date I have not received even this. Not happy with customer service at all. Would not recommend ordering a freezer. If in store purchase yes.

We bought this freezer and took it home only to find that the bracket cover in the back was broken into pieces, the front bottom right corner had a crack in the metal, and the inside of the chest had cuts in the casing from the brackets. We called Hisense and they told us that we have to return the item to Walmart, which we did. We got home with new one and found that it, too, was damaged. The vent cover is cracked. Both units had undamaged boxes.
