I recently purchased the Hobibear Men's Leather Running Shoes, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. Not only are they incredibly comfortable for all-day wear, but the quality of the leather is exceptional. The cushioning provides excellent support for my feet during my runs, and the design is sleek and stylish, making them versatile for both athletic activities and casual outings. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, durability, and style in their footwear collection.
When I first put the shoes on I thought "uh oh", it seemed they might be a tad short, felt my big toe touching. But after lacing them up and walking around a bit they felt okay. They've passed the test of a few good long walks for comfort, though I may want to add memory foam inserts for added comfort when hiking. Time will tell on quality: The last three walking/hiking shoes I've purchased (name brands, supposedly high quality) have had poor quality soles that wore down to no tread within the first year. That's what attracted me to this particular model and color with deep tread and looks like good traction control. The value, with Black Friday discount was great.
The bodies of these shoes seem well-made, and they're comfortable, but they're not what I paid for. The description included a full paragraph about them being "slip-on" with stretchy or elastic panels, which is why i bought them, except there are NO stretchy elements at all that allow these shoes to slip on. They must be fully untied and retied each time. (No, the tongue doesn't stretch. No, the laces aren't elastic, either.) I kept them because they were half price, so although I was disappointed, I figured I would get use out if them. HOWEVER: a major flaw is that the metal lace loops at the top have INTERNALLY SHARP EDGES, and after just a few months of occasional wear, the loops chewed through the original laces and I've already had to replace them. Seriously, the lace loops cuts the laces. I had to rate the Fit and other qualities so low because it's hard to tie the shoes properly when the laces are snagging and getting damaged. Sorry. They look nice, and they feel good once they're on and adjusted -- but they aren't slip-on and they ruin their laces a little more every time you put them on.
I’m sise 10, but these size 10 shoes are to small…
poor quality. bought these 4/20/22 and its now 4/4/22. the sole of the shoe has totally seprated from the main shoe all the way up one side. Cant handle 3 mnths of everyday use.
Shoes are very nice and comfortable. However, NOT durable and rugged as they appear. Five months of just regular walking they came apart! Unwearable!! So disappointing! I did not even hike. :-(
Sole wears out to quickly and is formed with air pockets. step on water more than 3 mm deep and feet get wet. Inside the shoe a weak cloth like material is under the shoe insert which will wear out quickly and allow your heel to fall into the plastic honeycomb sole. My shoes still have little wear above the shoe sole but now i have had to use a rubber compound injected into the heel to try and get more use out of the shoes.
My son has had shoes that have lasted for yrs. These shoes looked like they should have lasted him for a while but lasted not even 3 months. He's so disappointed, he really loved his shoes. Hes takes great care of his shoes. Its crazy for this to happen to a pair he got at the first of the school year not even 3 months later
I liked the design of the shoe but, I did not like the fact that the shoes are made by the hobibear company but, they do not bare the name on the shoe. The shoe sizes also do not reflect the U.S.A. sizing anywhere on the shoe. I bought 3 pair that were supposed to be an 8, 9 and 9.5. The shoes came as size 42, 43 and 44 and they are not true to the sizes that are being portrayed on the Walmart.com app from which I bought them.
Sneakers fell apart from walking on the treadmill for 30 days of use.The bottom heels were shreaded.
