Hodgman Gamewade Hip Packable Fishing Wader

Great product, perfect for what I need it for..

These work great for the price!

I bought three pairs of these to use to put in a pier in late April. The day was chilly and rainy, and the lake water was still very cold. The guys would not have been able to stay in the water long enough to complete the job without the insulation these provided. Unfortunately by the end two of the six legs had small tears allowing some water to leak in.

Small and compact, and easy to travel with, and take into the woods where I needed them.

Nor sure how to use these.

They tore when wearing the first time

Both leaked the first time I tried them.

Light and comfortable and plenty of room to slide them on. The only problem is that you have to be extremely careful with how you step and navigate. Even then, you can easily get a tear. The right leg of one pair got a hole within 5 steps, but the left leg survived the entire 30 minutes in the water. Another set received tears in both legs and did not survive the 30 minutes. The bottom of the stream was rough (smooth but large rocks), but bottom could be seen easily to ensure that steps weren't on anything sharp. However, I can't discount that the cut may have come from the roughness of the stream and using them in an environment that is not recommended (nothing stating something like this on the packaging though).

I'm a novice fisherperson and this is my first pair of waders. I used them on a FL beach during a rough incoming tide and I stayed totally dry! Was easy to clean the sand off and no issues. For the price of $12, I'm thrilled because I only fish occasionally and did not want to make an expensive purchase. If you're heavy duty, make the investment, if you want cheap like me, this is the way to go!

not bad they did what they were designed to do, kept me dry while wading in water salmon fishing. I don't recommend walking around to much in them but if you are stationary in water they are perfect for that
