We bought this hard drive in September 2025. The fans stopped working in November-December 2025, which has not only affected the fans, but the led lights as well. We are not able to use the hard drive as intended, as a gaming computer because doing so causes it to overheat. We have contacted the company on 3 separate occasions since Dec. 2025 in order to at least get the correct replacement part (fan controller hub). The first one they sent was not the correct part for our hard drive. We contacted them again. They said that they were going to send out the "upgraded version". This was in late January 2026. We haven't received it yet. We contacted them again to tell them this and the same exact email response was given to us. We still haven't received the part. It is mid-March 2026 now. We have been ghosted and are left with a hard drive that is partially nonfunctional. The extended warranty with Allstate doesn't kick in until September 2026 and I feel like the company is waiting for this so that they don't lose any profit.
