This is my 2nd purchase of these wheels. I originally bought a set for my machanics chair because the plastic ones just can't handle a rough environment and thev have worked great now i got a new set to replace the cheapo wheels on my office chair. These wheels are great for protecting your hard wood floors if you dont like those plastic mats.

I didn't expect something as simple as chair wheels to make this big of a difference, but wow — these completely changed the feel of my office chair. They roll incredibly smooth and are amazingly quiet. No more rough rolling, sticking, or noisy plastic wheels across the floor. My chair now glides effortlessly on my hardwood floors, and it almost feels like a brand-new chair. The wheels themselves also feel very heavy-duty and durable. They don't feel cheap or flimsy whatsoever. Installation was super easy too! I just popped the old ones out and these right in within minutes. This honestly ended up being one of the best small purchases I've made in a long time. These wheels are great. They make the computer chairs in our house roll over carpet and hard floors easier. what is best is they roll over the transition from carpet to hard floors easy, no more hang ups! these are definitely worth the money, well spent.

Perfect for vinyl floors which we have. Non marring, and almost totally silent. Good on rugs too. Won't gum up the sales and wheels like standard wheels. Just yank out old, slap in new. Takes about a minute per chair.

I had the original wheels on my office chair. Floor is older cement and a little rough. One of the wheel's axle broke and the whole wheel fell off. I had a doozy of a time pulling the old wheels off (couldn't) until I got a small set of pliers. I put them between the top of the wheel housing and the socket of the stem on the legs and pried them apart by spreading them away from each other. It was ridiculously easy. Inserting these new wheels into the sockets was easy. They roll great and have a little cushion to them and the smoothness of the bearings on this old floor.
