Well-engineered features
If you are looking for premium features on a 1000hp N.A. capable, cable operated throttle body, you should consider this one. I bought this to use on an all aluminum, Dominator EFI, port-injected dry nitrous 540 BBC that will see some car show action and then transition to weekend driver. The machined blade stop area on the bottom inlet transition is clearly designed to support better idle quality and "slightly off-idle" driveability for this larger bore size. I like that Holley added a screw adjustor to the PCV circuit so that you can set this to closed. For aesthetics, I removed the PCV tube and tapped/replaced it with a black 1/8" NPT plug as many others have done. The TPS, IAC, and air bleed provisions are fairly standard and the "clocking" feature is handy. The black powdercoat is well done, but I would have preferred that the cable throttle mechanism was color-matched. I went ahead and painted that.
