Holley EFI 550-917 Fuel Injection System

Holley has knocked it out of the park with this affordable PCM/harness. Everything plugged in and after the brief setup, it fired right up and started learning. The tuning software is pretty easy to learn and it's a free download. You will have to add an inlet air temperature sensor. Some of the wires are an odd length, but I assume that's because they are generic and not vehicle specific. I would still highly recommend this to anyone that doesn't want to pay a tuner or learn HP tuners.

Install instructions are great. Harness appears to be good quality. Handheld could be better resolution but for the price its well worth it. Installed and engine fired right up and idled.

I bought this few weeks ago it was simple anyone can do it if you have basics skills with electrical. I would recommend this to anyone

do not be mislead, just because you purchase a terminator X Max you have to be specific with the one you order. I anticipated getting all the wiring harnesses that the ECU controlled. the 550-917 does not come with the drive by wire harness even though it will control one. also one page of the instruction was blank, I can only assume that would have been the page for the knock sensor, cam sensor and the intake. I have yet to try the overall product because the drive by wire is the last thing installed per instructions and I'm now waiting on purchasing it and shipment. even though this is my fault, at the bottom of most items it includes (items not included, or recommended purchases) if they would have mentioned this I would know I was not looking at the incorrect terminator kit for my installation.

Just got my holley terminator x max for my ls. And it doesn't have the alternator plug, or the plugs for the throttle body. Who knows what else is missing!!you'd think for this much $ it would have everything !!
