Best fan ever
This is my 2nd Holmes tower fan (1st one still working like new after 2 years!) I love everything about this fan. It is not intrusive and runs quietly, yet it significantly cools my living room with a nice, comfortable breeze. I always use the oscillating feature but have never had to go above the 1st or 2nd power setting. I just recently recently purchased a 2nd one here from Heartland America to use in my bedroom. Was telling my co-workers about these great fans and while looking up a photo online I noticed Target, at the moment. is selling them for almost $30 less! :-( ... so that was a little disappointing. Can't say enough things about this great fan though! :-)

Junk!!!
Quit working 3 months after receiving item. Warranty says 3 years but a call to Holmes/Sunbeam says they won't honor the warranty because its a 3rd party seller. Since its a 3rd party seller Holmes doesn't know how old the item might be or where a 3rd party seller sources products from. I asked Holmes where their fans are made and they said USA or Canada. A sticker on this fan says Made in China. 2 months into owning the fan it sounded quieter like it wasn't spinning as fast as it should. A week ago I turned it off, let it sit a day and turned it back on. It wouldn't start and just made a humming noise. Tried on setting 2 and 3 and it spins but barely.
