Holmes Personal Space 2-Speed Air Purifier with Air Ionizer

I purchased this unit for a small bed room, at the price I thought I would be cheap and not work. I was wrong. Since it is for my bed room I have made plans to run it 24/7 and the highest level is really to loud I would only use that if I have a really bad smell, but level one changed the atmosphere in my room in about an hour. It compliments the whole house ionizer, As far as how long will it last I am not sure, I will change the filter as is says once every three months with a 6 dollar filter. So its not like a huge investment. I am happy with my buy and I will purchase more in the future as gifts for others, I think its that great.

It's very small. Makes lot of fan sound. I didn't keep it cause I wanted it for my living room and the sound made it hard to hear my tv. I believe it would of worked good had I kept it. The filter is very easy to change. I took it off the back to see the inside of it. Thats about it.

We have been using ours for over 2 yrs. This certainly does work well. Due to allergies I am very sensitive to many things, and this little gem certainly has helped a lot ! I keep a larger air cleaner in the bedroom, and we use good filters on our central system, and I keep this in between the living room and kitchen which also leads to a good sized hallway, and it helps keep the air clean, odors gone. The only complaint I have is that its hard to find the filters in stock. As soon as they are online or in the store, they sell out so quickly. Which tells you that others are also enjoying these units ? ;) I usually always make sure I have an extra or two. And honestly we only need to change the filter every few months. It is small, and quiet as well.

I bought three during the sale: 1 for my bedroom, 1 for my office, and 1 for travel. The office one works the hardest because the room is 400 square feet, but it cleans the air enough that everyone who walks in can tell the difference! In my bedroom there isn't as much dust and I don't sneeze when I move around in there. I used the other in a hotel just this weekend. I set it up, put it on 2-high, and went out for dinner and a show. Wow, what a difference it made in just 4 hours! Well worth the price and the filters are very reasonable. Great product!

I am using this for the laundry room to keep the dust down and it works very well. For under 20 bucks I would say it is worth the price. I have not had to change the filter yet but when I was looking inside the unit, I removed the filter and putting it back in place was extremely easy. It's a foolproof air filter. It is running all the time and I have noticed the very back where the filter intake it has noticible dust build up so I know for sure it is doing its job. I usually clean that off when it accumulates and I hope it prolongs the filter life.

I bought this air purifier for my desk at work, we have mold in the building and my co-workers and I are having allergy symptoms to this. I just started using this one day ago but can already feel a difference. It has a nice hum on low, a bit louder on high, but who cares, as long as it gets the job done!

This really eliminates the smoke and smell if u use it in a small room. My husband will smoke in the little bathroom in the basement when the weather is bad and sometimes I could smell it from upstairs but since we got this I haven't noticed a thing.

This small & simple unit is a good buy, I purchased one for a small office with no windows or moving air & another one for a bedroom. The replacement filters are not expensive either. Both seems to aid in controlling the stuffiness with my sinuses. They're fairly quiet like a low fan on the lowest setting & well worth it.

I bought this product to help filter smoke and grab odors. Though its not advertised as a product to help with smoke (a smoker vs. a non smoker in the same household) I can definitely notice a difference when they are being used (purchased 2). Just a little too noisy when operating on "High" setting but overall good little product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Having never used an air purifier before, I noticed no difference in air quality. The unit was placed in a room with birds & cats. After 10 days of night use only the filter was exactly the same & breathing for the one it was purchased for never improved. Walmart processes a return easily.
