Holt's Pinecone Wizard Nut Gatherer with Easy Pickup for 2.5" - 4.5" Pinecones

Works very well for picking up pinecones. Do need to watch it if going too fast or turning corners too fast as the ends can pop out of its containment. Easily put back in though. We love it and may get another one in near future. Could come down in price a little though.

dimple functionality and use

We bought this to clean up pinecones without raking or bending over to pick them up. It does a good job picking up whole pinecones but does not pick up the small or partial pinecones. Overall it does a good job.

Picks ups pine cones and tennis balls. You can't go too fast with the pine cones though or they'll fly out. Make sure you're not applying too much pressure when “raking”. Great invention. We bought one several months ago and have now gifted one

BELIEVE IT OR NOT THIS WORKS GREAT FOR PINECONES!!!!

I have a large farm yard with many pine trees. This made the pine cone pick up a breeze. This rake works great - easy to use and easy to empty!

If your back has been sore form picking up pine cones, please buy this! This is one of ther best inventions since the zipper.

Works perfectly. We have 2 1/2 acres filled with pinecones. This device alleviates the back breaking work of picking them up by hand.

This was recommended by a friend who had ordered one from the company that makes them. After we were unable to get one through them, my husband found it available online at Walmart %26 ordered one, for the same price overall with shipping. This tool has saved us a lot of work picking up a bumper crop of pinecones this year! Such a simple idea that works!

The description of this device for picking up pinecones is wholly inaccurate - it does NOT pick up the size range in the description. I measured my typical pinecones before placing an order, and they are above the smaller range the description claims the device picks up. It absolutely does NOT pick up pinecones as small as those in the description, and most certainly does not pick up any nuts. Unfortunately, I have no way of returning this large item - the original box was ruined trying to extricate the device and the cost to return it would be prohibitive. I gave it two stars instead of one simply because the device seems to be well-made and the concept of having a device that picks up pinecones is great. Sadly, a disappointing failure on the size range. I have no idea if it would work on the bigger cones.
