They are durable and super cute my dad loves the two we have it isn't advertised but they have a metal clasp to attach them easily to a tree branch or log.. they pickup movement from far away too !! Highly recommended
Works like expected. The birds keep trying to get on the tree but when the owl senses movement, it makes noise and eyes flash. Scares the birds away
Will I bought it for our camper, last time out a or the squirrels chewed a hole in my new collapsible outdoor trash can. So, I know this owl with its weird sound and eyes lighting up scared my two dogs, now if it'll do the job with squirrels. I'll be one happy camper
I like the look of the owl and I'm hoping it works. I would give it 5 stars if the motion sensor was stronger in detecting movement. You have to be within about 5 feet of it before it activates. Also the sound the owl makes is not very loud. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hope that it is enough to scare the birds away from my tomatoes.
Not sure if it works yet. Shipping fast.
The eye's don't well, nor does the motion detecter, but it helps
the lights and hooting only works part time
tried this to keep birds off peach tree. it didnt work correctly! the sound was very low...almost non-existant. and the eyes did come on and off. the distance of the motion sensor worked at about 4 foot after that nothing. it wont help if it doesnt pick up the motion.
No birds flee away so it didn't work for me. It plays owl sounds but they would have to get a foot away for the sound to work
The noise the owl makes and the owls eyes light up only at nighttime. Which is pointless for me because I have all the squirrels come around during the day time. The bird and squirrels are definitely not scared of the owl. A squirrel actually chewed off one of the owls toes.
