Homax 4665 Pro Grade Flat White Knockdown Ceiling Aerosol Texture Spray 20 oz.

After reading the reviews here (after I'd already bought it), I almost didn't use this. Video was very helpful. Did 6 areas (small patches in walls) around the house, and it came out great. Also cleaned it out (per video) and was able to use it a second time, a week later. Our painting contractor has used these for years. I asked him why he didn't just use a hopper and he told me hoppers are great for big jobs (entire walls/rooms), but these little cans are much faster for quick patches. After using this, and getting good results, I have to agree.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a settling crack on my ceiling between the dining area and living room. This product worked great in covering that crack. It looked like the original on either side of the former crack. Very easy to use.

Terrible product, as the other reviews mentioned got more of it on me than on the ceiling. Spray nozzle clogs and more ends up on the floor than on the ceiling. Don't waste your money!

I bought this for a couple repair spots on my ceiling thinking it would do the trick. For the few seconds it sprayed it was great. It stopped spraying after a few seconds and just dribbled. Lots of shaking later and I got a few more seconds of spray. Based on the other reviews this just seems like a poorly designed product and is extremely frustrating. I'd like to find out what quality control is used.

save your time and money, just rent a hopper and gun, this stuff is useless, worked for about 10 seconds then jus oozed out of nozzle, even after cleaning it. I ended up with more texture on me that on the ceiling. only reason I gave it a 1 is because there is no zero or negative numbers

I bought this for a 60 Sq Ft bathroom. I shook it for at least twice as long as suggested. It sprayed about a minute and clogged completely. So tomorrow I will go to Menards and buy a cheaper brand that I am sure will out perform this Junk. You should probably stop making this as I wont be buying any of your products. Actually 1 star is definitely too high of a rating. PPG should be embarrassed.

Bought this for a time critical project, entire nozzle does not function no material/spray at all. Defective can and nozzle, completely messed with my schedule and missed a day and completed late. First time I tried it, will go back to other manufacturers with simpler and working cans/nozzles. Horrible Period!

I just bought to add texture to my wall. I sprayed a 3x3 foot area and I put the can down to smooth it. When I picked it back up to continue, the nozzle stopped working. I'm not impressed and will be returning it to Home Depot tomorrow.

Horrible product. Bought three cans and each only worked for ten seconds before the spray stopped and the texture just poured out of the tip. Do not purchase!

Bought this yesterday. First time patching holes myself. Had to patch two medium size holes in ceiling from an old light fixture. Bought this can to “easily” spray texture. Don't want to rent equipment for such a small job. Followed all directions and the stuff just comes oozing out of every hole in the top of the nozzle, the handle the lock button and even the two small holes on the side of the cap. Made a huge mess all down my sleeve and pants. I cleared the nozzle and rinsed the cap. Ran it under warm water to warm up the can. Still doesn't work.
