This stuff simply works. I have heard horror stories about can sprayed texture and I was a little leery when I purchased this. After I patched and sprayed it then painted it, you couldn't even tell that there was patch work. This stuff works very well and I have already recommended it to many of my friends and family. Great job Homax!
This is great stuff. I wanted to cover wall areas that obviously had "built-ins" which when taken off the wall left a flat spackled surface. What a great time I had testing it out on a piece of black construction paper then going to town on the walls! I did however end-up with 2 cans I am not able to use at the moment. Be sure you don't over-order if you are not planning to do every wall in the room, only part. I would highly recommend this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you follow the instructions this really works. Be sure to test the spray on a piece of cardboard. It's important to get the closest match to your existing texture. Follow the instructions. Don't spray too close and move the can to create a random pattern. Shake the can vigorously for the recommended time and throughout the application. Keep a damp cloth handy. If you make a mistake or spray too much, you can quickly clean it up. Your area will be ready to paint in the recommended time. Try to wait until you have a large area or more than one area to texture. This doesn't keep forever in the can. Buy the smallest can unless you have a big project….but it is really worth the product although I don't have to take a picture anymore I issue the review in English ..
I bout this today i am texturing a large room with small spaces, for example above entryways between windows. I own a hopper but really diddnt want to spend much time prepping and cleaning so i bought this can of orange peel. It was absaloutly perfect this did exactly as advertised.
I was able to use this on a job today. Took a little bit of fine tuning on a piece of scrap drywall but once I had her dialed in she worked like a champ. I sprayed it upside down like it said to clear it so hopefully I'll be able to use it again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have been needing to repair a small area on my dining room wall. I didn't know they made this easy to use product! I expected to do the whole wall until I received this Pro Grade Wall texture. It worked perfectly! You can't find the area that it fixed! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Followed the instructions to a T. Shook it up vigorously, way more than the suggested 1 minute after hearing the ball rattle. Repeatedly. Only to waste time and loose all pressure before even getting the can half empty!!! Bought the bigger "Pro Grade" can for the finer settings/control and better deal, but ended up wasting time and money due to this product being even below consumer grade If only I had read all the reviews before buying... Who knew you can't even rely on the "Pro Grade" label anymore?!?
Have used several of these cans for small patch jobs in new Construction, the new can with the pressure adjustment works much better than the old cans but way to many of these are only good for about half of the product that is in the can. After that performance goes way down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Both my wife and I tried to get this can to do what it was supposed to do. We both read and re-read the instructions careful and followed the instructions to the letter. Nothing! Nada! No work! Maybe just this can was defective. I really would have liked it to work. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Bought 3 cans, at different locations, ONE can worked well, I am happy with the result. The SECOND can would leak all over, upon further inspection the spray pin appears to have taken a fall and is bent (likely happened in shipping or at the store). This just caused a giant mess, and I could not stop spraying until I pulled off the nozzle (Picture, half a can sprayed out all over your hands and a pile on ground). After this issue I went out and purchased the Professional orange peel can for about $26 thinking this will be better. Wrong this can sprayed nice for a total of 3 maybe 4 seconds. Now I cant get anything to come out of the can. This product is nice when you can use it as intended, but the cans seem to be the issue, therefore don't waste your money.
