Although assembly was more difficult than I anticipated, it wasn't as difficult as some furniture I've had to put together in the past. It works as intended. I'm using this as my desk chair for my bedroom. It's in a tight space and is compact enough to fit nicely. The swivel and recliner work beautifully and don't really require a ton of extra space for function. I use this chair roughly 30hrs a week for school work and gaming and it's been comfortable and held its shape perfectly. I LOVE it!

The chair covering, color-wise, is very good and just as pictured in ad. No complaint at all! Chair suites the need for me as occasional bedroom chair but children/pet home would not be recommended as it would not withstand any type of abuse. The reclining and other mechanisms work well but in the way it is designed, there is a constant vinyl to vinyl sound that is annoying and loud. I have an issue with the bottom piece that provides the swivel which is a very flimsy plastic, very lightweight and easily scratch even durable wood flooring. I am 5'1, of short statue from knees down so as I attempt to get up from chair, it comes forward and up off of the floor in the rear. If I fail to catch it before I step away, it slams back down. As I stated, for adult occasional use, it suites my needs and looks good.

Whole process of getting this was easy and it came faster than we expected. Fun trying to figure out the directions, but was ok. We're older buyers and took us a while, but got it together and it does what we wanted. Manual foot rest, OK. Reclines OK, can go completely around - really like that feature. It is a smaller version of a recliner. lower seating. But fits us, so give that an OK. The color is a muted orange, not vibrant orange and it works OK. The lumbar support -??? not much there. When lying back as far as allowed, the attachment of the back kinda pushes into my back. So will have to address that , or NOT lie all the way back to avoid uncomfortable pressure on my back. PRETTY wood trim and generally a good deal. Hope it will last us awhile, because we use it every day.

The appearance is nice and exactly how it looks online. However, I like to to use the chair upright not reclining, and in the upright position the footrest is much too low to the ground causing my back to hurt. I'm a petite person so that may be the problem. I am keeping it and using an old footrest I have and that solves the problem. Would not recommend for a person 4'11” tall.

It's not exactly as it appears. The chair is VERY short, with no way to adjust height, which makes it hard getting up out of. It's not practical for an office chair. On the other hand, the recliner mechanism is solid compared to some of these I've seen with a bar you slide out, then flip over a tiny foot pad.

Very hard to get feet to lift and back to decline. I am a senior and was very hard to operate it. looks okay but have say the seat part is comfortable.

I bought this chair for my sister who was in the hospital with a serious illness and needed a comfortable chair that could recline with a footrest. It was fine until recently when the lever used to extend the footrest quit working and ended up knocking her to the floor. It has happened more than once and when I sat in the chair and tried to close the footrest it took several tries to get it to engage. So now she can no longer use the chair as intended. It's only 3 months old!

assembly instructions were extremely vague and unhelpful one bolt would not fit thru lower frame bracket because hole was not properly sized
